Re: French rugby 2018/2019

Toulon, spend far too much to be 3rd last. It's a a rugby legend retirement village over there.

Re: Wayne Baynes to soon call time on his refereeing career

Paying them a decent wage would be a good start. The ref's all have to hold down other jobs to keep themselves in the black. Insane as they form such a fundimental part of the sport. What do you think is a decent wage for a referee? For how fundamental they are to the game I'd put those at the top ...

Re: New kits for next season

My bed's fine thanks. Memory Foam. My underlying point of that of visibility. Perhaps you have 20/20 vision? Not everyone does, but can still see. Near-black against a near-black background does not make for clarity, especially in the dark, with spotlights; rain makes it worse. In my own world I ha...

Re: Final Preseason Game vs London Irish

Any chance of a stream for this game? It was interesting seeing Connor O'Shea jabbering away in Italian even if we did get pumped in Treviso.

Re: Danny Cipriani - Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose

Let’s see what Glos do now. Ban him ? Fine him ? Both ? Either way they have to do something to send out a message to others. Be hypocritical in light of the previous Ackerman misdemeanours though! A fabricated incident made up or at least severely exaggerated by a bloke after some cash. A friend o...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part Deux

Scrum stopped being a weapon when a generation of gnarly forwards retired. Most posters underrate how much gnarly players underpinned our successes up to 2012, the type of player who knew how good they were but didn't have to parlay it into choosing coaches......And I still relish being told about ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part Deux

Retallick and Crotty hopefully! Is there any truth to what the Eggchasers lads were saying about Tigers turning down Crotty during Maugers reign? Probably. They said Mauger turned him down so either 1. Mauger rated Toomua more than Crotty who during the time wasn't as well known as he is now or 2. ...

Re: Premiership Rugby Cup - Probably Rubbish Cup!

Does anyone know whether PRC is an under 23 competition like the Welsh replacement for AWC? I'd prefer to see that than just a second string league.

Leatigaga looks like a great replacement for Logo if we can get him locked in.

Where is Voss rumored to be off to?

Re: Tom Youngs yesterday

If there is a time to get Thacker into the scrum it is now while the new laws depower it so much. I reckon keeping Thacker at 2 with a bigger back row could provide us with that extra bit of pace around the breakdown that we need while allowing us to choose more ballast in the back row. Mapa gets my...
