Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

looking at his England situation I do wonder if Steve will be speaking to Freddie about a position change, he is too good a player to leave out, I'd still be starting him at 15 personally but with England having a serious lack of midfield options I could see Steve wanting him there, at least as an o...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

the English often get labelled arrogant but there is none more arrogant or smug than a Celt who have a win over England, hopefully we can have a repeat in a few weeks time

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

Feyi-Woboso looking quality.

Furbank scores so he'll play next week too, he's doing nothing that Steward wouldn't without the dominance in the air

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

well done Italy that was superb.

Ford having a shocker got to wonder how fit Marcus Smith is. Furbank is a one man turnover machine

Just watched the highlights on YouTube - looks like it was a great game, does anyone know if the full match will appear anywhere?

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

yes England have always been based off a strong pack and set piece but the backs more than made a difference back then. they had an attacking plan they worked on, today our backs are there to chase kicks and tackle, in between standing around getting cold for long stretches

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

what's the point playing Furbank when we don't bother training the attack? Ireland will pepper him too

following on from the Rolling Maul boys becoming proper podcasters by interviewing Andrea Pinchen which was a great listen, Andy Goode has interviewed Dan McKeller on this weeks Rugby Pod, not gotten to it yet but Goode doesn't normally pull his punches so should be interesting.

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

The fact England aren’t doing any attack training doesn’t bother me, the fact a player has leaked this does. Borthwick is a good coach given past record. He should be given time to bed in but the press and the Kick=bad brigade might not give him it. For me, the extreme rush defence is clearly the b...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work

I'm going to get ripped apart I feel BUT Porter is a better winger or 12 than outside Centre. IDK I'm a big fan of Porter but he just doesn't seem to have the rugby IQ for 13. For the records I want to keep Porter but I just feel that he might be better served as a starting winger (IMO played his b...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

I think it’s a poor selection decision to cope with England’s lack of creativity to drop your best back of the past two years. For over a decade England’s midfield has been constantly changing and we are still having the same arguments. It has now affected a cornerstone of the team and that should ...
