Dream on they haven't done sports for years... why do you think Tigers pulled out in the first place?
Yes I know. The tone of voice doesn't always come across in the typed word.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 7

Stories coming out of Wales are they haven’t been impressed with him. So maybe there is potential they could release him. Unimpressed with him or not, if Blommjites is under a contract, I doubt very much if he would be released if there's potential for money to be made in buying out a contract. I a...

Re: Smithy

A sad day, but perhaps not too surprising as Matt has got to 'that sort of age'. What a great and loyal career! 14 years, 227 games, 30 tries, with Dosser the first dad/son to make 100 and 200 appearances, Play Offs, Finals, 3x Prem winning team member, a memorable centre partnership with Ant Allen,...

Re: New coaching structure?

For credibility’s sake, Leicester Tigers cannot be seen to lose/sack yet another DOR/HC. The present HC announcing a coaching restructure in fact allows the Club to do some revolutionary rather than evolutionary changes. Murphy will then be judged at the end of next season.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 6

Most of those are already known. You’d assume the public domain known confirmed deals would be announced first, save the speculative ones for later. To be fair, most of the recent announcements were already known, or very highly speculated. The Tigers' set up is very good at not knowing, or reactin...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 6

New signings. Although welcome, feel like they have been announced strategically as part of a policy of distraction. The underlying problem remains, because there's still no hint of any responsibility for the state of things being taken by those upstairs who do the hiring and firing of players and c...

Dark Pastel Green (RGB 3, 192, 60) with red and white hoops, white or black shorts, black stockings with green, white and red tops.

I don’t require my name on the kit, thanks, but the free season tickets will be appreciated.

Re: Cohen in the Express.

I thought the general consensus was that MOC was largely a Tom call. With not many people in the Rugby committee objecting or putting up a strong opposition. But surely we all know, the conveniently unemployed MOC was appointed after exhaustive worldwide search by a high end team of independent exp...

Re: Cockerill - blame the hierarchy

The family atmospher at Tigers was real, very much like the one enjoyed by Exeter today. In my view, a lot of the change in atmosphere is down to the physical changes to the Ground over the last decade. The construction of firstly the Caterpillar Stand and then the new Clubhouse Stand replaced the ...

Re: Club address social media abuse

Whilst I’m not surprised fans are feeling hurt and angry at the moment, nothing, but nothing justifies the sort of stuff that has been put on s/m, some of which has been described to me red in tooth and claw. I fully support the Club’s action to clamp down on it swiftly.
