Re: Gouges

It looked like Gengey was repeatedly punching with elbow/forearm/fair on the ground?? ...it’s hard to tell with the footage exactly what’s going on but it doesn’t look good 😳 ...can anyone clarify what they saw ? The video I've seen is poor quality and only 1 angle. I saw Genge reacting badly to so...

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021

That’s a bad gouge, just seen it. Massive ban coming. Did Adams ground that ball though? 🤔 Did Itoje last week? It’s debatable but what’s your angle?! I’m asking a genuine question,I only saw one take on bbc news. So I ask again, did Adams ground the ball? For me the Adams one was held up but there w...

Re: Gouges

What's with eye gouges this weekend. One by Falcons (not red carded) One by France (red carded) One against Sinkler - deemed accidental I think. And now seen on Twitter there's some alleging Sexton may have Gouged Genge? Can't remember last time eye gouging had one incident let alone 4 in one weeke...

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021

As a neutral fan that was the game of the tournament; good attacking rugby from the outset, tense to the end, plenty of drama

Having a Welsh (Scarlets) wife that was the worst game of the tournament...

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021

So an Irish player sticks a finger in Sinckler's eye and it is accidental, a marginal contact on a Welsh player is a red?? Have to agree with that, Sincklers eye clearly had contact, looked a mess!! Saw Sinckler with watering eyes and blinking a lot but not what caused it - assumed from the lack of...

Red all day long - reckless to the eye or eye area

Wales lucky after 2 yellows to not get another 2 for more penalties - did manage to wind down 3 minutes

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021

The rest are envious of that unquantifiable quality that Wales persistently deliver," said O'Driscoll. To be fair they do seem to have the habit of winning more games than you think they should given the 23 players involved (or wider squad of 30). They occasionally blow cold but not as often a...

Re: Jumping to catch the ball

There was an interesting one in the internationals during the autumn when Biggar jumped and landed on Underhill. Poite said Underhill wasn't moving and had no obligation to get out of Biggar's way seeing as there was such a distance from take off to landing. Underhill wrapped and brought him down sa...

Re: PREMIERSHIP ROUND 10

Its consistency that's the issue, Kalamofoni got laid out by an elbow/forearm the other week..no card or citing. They looked at it a lot at the time and decided the separation of arm from body wasn't sufficient to be a leading arm. IMHO the wrong decision but it was clearly looked at a lot before t...

Re: Gallagher Premiership Round 6

For me there is a difference between swearing at sir versus around/to sir; the former is a ban, the latter is a warning about future indiscretions.

IMO Sinckler should have been told to cool off and step back and let the captain talk.

Re: Legal case with ex-players

Didnt Wasps and Quins go over the cap but this was never intentional. If I recall, they were fined a few thousand pounds. Quin's overran by about £12k due to an IT/system issue (someone messed up an Excel formula). Wasps went 'slightly' over the cap to the tune of about £40k. There was some questio...

Re: Other Round 22 Fixtures

some of the nonsense on here coming from fellow Tigers fans is just depressing. Seriously, what have Sale done that's so offensive to you all, or is it just because they signed Manu? The bitterness is outright embarrassing, grow up. I don't think it is Sale or Manu it is aimed at, it's the complete...

Re: Other Round 22 Fixtures

Yeah, but the main point.... Sale can't field a side on Sunday... so why are they being given preferential treatment... it stinks! Exactly, if false positives due to human error in testing process Northampton should be able to play on Wednesday as well. Northampton are not playing as they are unabl...

Re: Toulon v Tigers - Challenge Cup Semi

Another thing I kept saying over and over and over again. Big mistake going A team then Z team then A etc. Needed to constantly mix it up You may keep saying it but that doesn't change the player welfare requirements about how many minutes they can play and how many starts they're allowed. There's ...
