I feel rather shocked. I never met Bill, but I felt I knew him and always thought about trying to meet up with him at a game sometime just to have a chin wag about the Tigers.
His posts will be sorely missed.
Cheers Bill

Re: Toulon bid to join premiership
What happens when the Sugar Daddy's have had enough? Will they then want to revert to the French league because they can't afford it any more. It may happen it may not but for me, a French club should just play in France. Mind you, how about the top English clubs playing in the French league... afte...

Re: Treviso.
Tigers must treat Treviso with respect and field a team strong enough to earn 5 points this Saturday. I know the temptation is to rest our star players and field an understrength team, but we must remember that we have to finish first or second seeds for the quarter finals, so if we do end up havin...

Re: Advice on Paris
It may be a little way from the stadium but I went to Paris for the weekend at the beginning of December for the Wife's 60th and we stayed in the Montparnasse area which was about 3 miles south of Notre Dame and we could see the Eiffel Tower from our friends room. Very close to the Metro and we foun...

I think it is a great signing and look forward to seeing him play for us... unless he like many others before him gets crocked beforehand!

Re: No Sell Out on Boxing Day
I wanted to come but Mrs N decided we have made plans and are in Southampton so we can't go
Alas a cousin will be there and he asked if it will be OK to wear his Cornish Pirates scarf and hat. He will be in The Crumbie so don't give him too much hassle!

Much improved performance 2nd half IMO and did well to keep it at 0-0 during Slaters yellow.

Re: 6 Nations Squad
Well Abendanon rightly isn't going to be picked whilst playing in France is he?! If he wants to play for England as much as you want him playing for England, he needs to get back to an English club. Why should he? Australia have reversed their deciion to include foreign based players, Wales have in...

How many more times can McGaw get away with cheating?
Watching NZ and Georgia and noticing Richie McGaw at the scrum cheating every time. He stands up, he disengages when the scrum is still active, the lot. Why can't the ref's pay more attention to what he is doing? Even the commentators seem to be oblivious to what he does. He has just got to be the m...

Re: World Cup Ticket Failure
Ticket prices amongst other things in this country are always a rip off. Last week at the T20 finals day, a pint was £4.20 and that was for a shandy! I'm off to Georgia Vs Japan today down at Glaws, but the price is only £15 so maybe not everything is a rip off. Other countries can price tickets sen...

Re: Anthony Allen, has been forced to announce his retiremen
That's devastating news not only for Ant but for us fans and the Tigers as a club. he has been probably one of if not the best (IMO of course) players since he came to us.
We shall miss his skills.
