Re: New kits for next season

I have given up caring what the jersey looks like. I make no apology for like the traditional mid-green with red and white hoops, body and sleeve. But if there wasn't a return to this design for a playing jersey even in the special one-off year of Welford Road 125 (only the special 'classic'), then ...

Re: New Kit 2018-19

I don’t like any of these stars and flags and stuff. Bling. The old school Letter over the Tigers badge on the jersey (introduced by Cockers) would be welcome, but larger than before.

Re: New Kit 2018-19

Still Kukri, a select group of senior forum members and fans have already chosen a design according to the Facebook Group. In my opinion, I would like to see two stars above the logo to represent the fact that we have won two Heineken Cups (although that might not reside well with Bakewell who want...

They may be Tigers’ great rivals, but Saints is not a fly by night new nickname. It derives from St James, the church of the clergyman who started it all. Called ‘Northampton St James’ originally ... the Jimmies, or the Saints.

Re: Paddy Jackson

As I was driving to work I heard that Paddy Jackson was being released by Ulster. Would people be happy to have him at the club or not? He has been found not guilty, is proven class and probably won’t be playing for Ireland for the foreseeable future. He is an upgrade on Joe Ford. However would the...

Re: A nice article about Harry Ellis

“I would love to see Tigers with more Leicester people playing for them. You get a lot of people that come and stay for a year or so and then go elsewhere. Maybe that’s the nature of professional sport these days. I would like to see Leicester people playing for Leicester or only-one-club men as it ...

(I've always said that the Club is missing a trick by not offering as well the traditional letters as an alternative.)

Re: MOC to be sacked?

(I am not a great one for tarting up Welford Road unnecessarily, and when it seems to make new erections look more important than the rugby, but to be fair the Granby Halls redevelopment had Tigers over a barrel. When it was put up for sale, to secure the site Tigers had to submit a sufficiently whi...

If anyone’s going to be sacked, first on the list should be those Club overseers who keep making wrong fit appointments.

I always thought 'never go back' was a universal principle. Hence (at one level) my surprise at MOC returning to Welford Road.
