Re: Games postponed (according to BBC)

I'm surprised anyone gives any credence to anything coming out of the BBC these days, they have been pretty useless for about a generation or so. Agreed. Today their lineups for Newcastle v. Saracens list Horacio Agulla in the Falcons side! OK, they'll probably argue that it was a slip of the keybo...

Re: Games postponed (according to BBC)

I suspect that's the BBC's automated system picking up on the fixture changes. We are now away to Newcastle on Friday 12th February and away to Quins on Friday 19th February. Yes, these changes were announced on 5th November: http://www.leicestertigers.com/news/23710.php#.Vl251tLhDwc Looks like the...

Re: Phone Alerts

You could use the Tigers app - just download it from Play Store, start it up and touch the "Live" icon at the bottom of the screen. Or you could use the BBC Sport app and customise it through "My Alerts" on the menu. I also have a Sony Xperia and I tend to use the BBC app as it t...

Re: Still stuck in the mud! - Development updates

As long as the stand is completed at some point why get up tight about it. Friday's events put things into perspective and I don't mean the rugby. Why stress about stuff you cannot influence and are not responsible for? Totally agree with you grobyman. OK, the opening of our new stand may be a coup...

Dave J wrote:Ref for Sundays game is Tom Foley. As I was unfamiliar with the name I did a quick check and found that his 1st premiership game was last seasons Wasps v London Welsh @ Cov.

Does anyone know if he ref'd Tigers last season?

I can confirm that he didn't. Trust me :smt002

Thanks for the clarification, Noggs. That wasn't obvious from where I was standing on Saturday (on the terrace, Welford Road end).

Re: Still stuck in the mud!

This is the Stains progress of 31st July, they are on Weetabix I was talking to a Saints fan at the Argentine v Tonga match on Sunday and he told me there is no way their new stand will be ready for the start of this season so maybe our own progress isn't so shabby after all. What puzzled me on Sat...

Re: Stefan Armitage held by police

From the BBC website:
"According to France Bleu radio station, both players told investigators they have no memory of what happened that night."

Had it been his brother I wouldn't have been surprised by this, but it's not the sort of thing I would expect from Steffon.

Re: Breakdown/blocking and reffing

There was a lovely example in the Edinburgh-Bordeaux game where two French players took out two defenders with the runner behind them going through the gap to score. There was another example in the Treviso v Ospreys match yesterday, when THREE Ospreys players could/should have been pinged for bloc...

Re: Streaming TV?

I guess it depends on what you mean by a 'genuine' site, but I was able to watch the Quins match last week through http://cricfree.sx
There were streaming delays occasionally but it's better than nothing.
