Re: What a load of ... Exeter Chiefs urged to re-name thems
Trouble is you never can tell out of context - in any sane world the Scots would have been upset by Mel Gibson portraying them as blue painted savages in Braveheart but because it was anti-English it was OK!

What a load of ... Exeter Chiefs urged to re-name themselve
I spotted this Exeter Chiefs urged to change 'offensive' name by Native American expert and thought what the :censored: as it seemed too trivial and narrow minded for words - however, am I wrong? I'd be interested to know people's ideas. I'd suggest as a first response Exeter should say they'll foll...

Re: Jones names provisional elite player squad
It does make me wonder, given that Tom Youngs spent most of last season out with a serious back injury how much work did he do on the aspects of his game that saw him left out last year... According to EJ it wasn't his skills but his aggression and application - not exactly things you can practise ...

Re: Kit Watch
The new kit is great and the traditionalists out there will love it. When the price comes down after Christmas I will probably buy it, however after looking at the Stade website their shirts are stunning, why can't we have a subtle tigers head superimposed on the shirt. I am well aware that most of...

Re: Kit Watch
... , last season the home kit was worn away more often than not. If I were a betting man, I would guess this may only see the light of day once or twice to justify its existence. ... Good point - whilst I didn't think the home kit design last season was the best it was certainly 'OK' ( I bought on...

Re: Wearing a tigers shirt abroad
Over the years I've been stopped for friendly conversations about Tigers whilst wearing my shirt in Vancouver, on an Alaskan Airways flight to Juneau, Nürnberg in Germany, Lexington in Kentucky, and in Hawaii amongst other places! Always a good conversational gambit - mind you wearing a Tigers shirt...

Re: Kit Watch
To my taste the home design is excellent - good trad stuff; however, the change/away strip is truly bilious - horrid/nasty and various other epithets spring to mind. I suppose a strip that makes the opposition nauseous has its advantages! Still these things are, of course, to personal taste and some...

Re: Sam Underhill
If picking Underhill due to his choice of undergraduate degree while he was still a teenager isn't an exceptional circumstance then I don't know what is.... I agree and surely the simple question to the lad - "do you intend to stay in Wales after graduation?" would solve the (alleged) 'le...

Re: An analysis of the finances in the Irish game
Precis of article: "With France and England no longer subsidising us we have a problem". The real answer for the proper financial success of the game in Ireland, Scotland and Wales would be a British league, with no European competition in the current model. This would be analogous to the ...

Personally I won't bother to vote but speculate on what a superb pairing they'd have made together.

Re: Kit Watch
Whilst the indications are that the home shirt will be good, the same logic would hint that the away shirt will be something like the pikki shown in the STIHL to extend Tigers partnership page - pretty billious.

Re: Welcome back Brendan Venter.............
Well there's no denying he's a 'character', which after the charisma-free Tom Coventry can't be a bad thing. He's certainly likely to instil the one thing that was truly missing last season, which was back-bone.

Oh for a nice simple world where you just have North, South, East and West stands - wonder why that's never been tried anywhere?

Epic achievement compiling this - thanks: as at 18:30 on Mon there is one error - you have Genge both coming from and going to Bristol.
