Re: Tigers v Saracens (H) - Sunday 19th February 2023 - KO 3-00pm

One slightly unnoticed thing, Pollard yesterday with their intercept try. Never going to get there, never tried, but he busted a gut to run the inside line and stop it being under the posts. Genuinely think if that conversion is landed they go for points not the corner with 6 minutes to go and a wh...

Re: Tigers post Borthwick - next Head Coach?

Wigworth wrote When he helps foster a culture around the result of a match being the be-all and end-all for your fans, you get a situations like with Wayne Barnes wife where fans threatened to kill her children and burn down her house. A little beyond the pale you think? Top With all respect, that ...

That was pretty much self inflicted, dropped passes, missed kicks and lack of thought.

Lesson for Tigers about taking 3 points when on offer.

Tigers played with the energy that has been lacking so far this season. Need to keep it at that level for the rest of the season.

Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) - Saturday 07th January 2023 - KO 14:00

Deano was an ex-player who went straight from playing with to coaching his ex-team mates and I'm old enough to remember how that went (4 Premiership titles in a row - I've still got the polo shirt - and back to back Heineken Cups for the younger ones amongst us). Happy for you to give other stuff t...

Injuries before and during game had an important part to play. But some of Tigers silly errors just compounded things.

Well done Clare playing 80 mins, at least he earned an after match beer.

North out for two weeks with a cheekbone injury. Saw it at the time and thought maybe the game should’ve been stopped for a head injury but he got up himself and moved out of the way of play then went down on his knees again. Another head injury for him though and I really worry about this guy when...

Re: Next England Head Coach (Pre &/or Post World Cup)

I think I'd prefer Tigers to not simply employ whoever is available now. Rather get a great replacement for next season. Even if it means they struggle this season.

Daily Mail have historically been pretty accurate about rugby, always been a suspicion they have a mole in the RFU.

My impression was that Ford also demanded high standards from everyone.

This really shows what we have missed with Kelly out, yes he supplies classy offloads and powerful run, but he also works so hard off the ball and at the breakdown.

I thought Whitcombe had a solid game, held his own in the scrum, made 9 tackles missed none, and a couple of carries.

Re: Tigers v London Irish (H] - Sunday 27th November 2022 KO 3pm

Tigers seem off the pace, I know there are various disruptions due to lack of games and people being away, but they just seem clueless at times. Perhaps they need Ford to provide the focus and decision-making on the field. The penalty count was dreadful, many just stupid in positions where there was...
