Re: Parling takes head knock v Saracens
Wishing him a speedy recovery. This is just another one. Red card for Barrington for shoulder to head. Barritt very lucky not to get a card for the initial tackle which was high. Agreed should have been at least a yellow for Barrett, just because worst offence was Barrington first offence shouldn't...

Yes please most talented natural footballer in the countrySirGordonRamsey wrote:I believe Slade has confirmed he is leaving Exeter for a premiership team, he could be a great replacement for either Owen Williams or Matthew tait.
I'm guessing he'll be a similar salary to either of them.

Re: Leicester Tigers 2016/17 Squad/Transfers/Contract thread
Owen Williams done deal to Glouscester. According to big Jim on the rugby pod. If true, I wonder if that is because he was pro-Cockers and knew what was coming? Or knew that he wouldn't figure under a Mauger regime change. Maybe he planned to move because of cockers and wasn't aware of what was aro...

Do we need to fail to be great again
During the Bristol v Worcester game over the festive period, it was mentioned how a Tom Vardell tackle on Sam Vesty at the rec, I think in 2011, when one was playing for Wasps and the other Bath, was the only thing that stopped Wasps being relegated that season. It was from this low point that Dai Y...

Re: DOR aspirants, then?
Opinions are widely spread on Lancaster. Admittedly the World Cup was a car crash, but how much was that to do with Farrell snr. As far as coaching goes he is one of only around a dozen level 5 coaches in the country, so his understanding of the game is high. Also look at the comments that are comin...

Re: The Conumdrum that is Ben Youngs !
So the question seems to be why is Youngs outstanding for England and rubbish for Tigers. Maybe people should look at the cause rather than the effect. With England hi is more often than not given the ball on a silver plate, he is well protected at the side of rucks and mauls, has forwards running o...

Would be interested to see what Ali Hepher could bring after his time at Exeter, and the excellent job he did with The Saxons in South Africa last year.
