Re: Teams up v Bath
Every team will have this issue in the next two games - such is the PRL rules. Not a great score line but some good looking cameos which will change to performance in due course.

Re: Teams up v Bath
Given the PRL guidelines on player safety for this period, every club is going to have to put a side out like this at some point during the three game spell. We are slightly more hampered by lack of player availability but great to see some trust put in youngsters.

Re: Leicester Tigers 2016/17 Squad/Transfers/Contract thread
Possible new signings announcements tied in with new kits, fixture lists etc. As for props - maybe a loan signing from Doncaster or Nottingham is easier than using salary cap up early. Given we can replace front rows in all competitions more easily than other postitions.

Re: Lawes
Believing the legality of the tackle to be well discussed and views exchanged - for me the question is what was the point? Given there are four probable outcomes of a) no action b) penalty c) yellow card d) red card, the percentages would say making that tackle gives a 75% chance of conceding points...

Re: Why do people leave the ground early?
As previous posters say - a game is now an unpredictable 90-95 mins when including breaks in play, for some that can mean infringement on travel times for other events. The folks next to me in the Crumbie stand will leave early dependent on his shift pattern as weekends are not leisure time for all....

Just to add to Raging Bull post - Seb de Chaves is England qualified - Portuguese dad, English mum and born in SA. Source: Mercury article on his signing.

Re: Bans
Dave, Bans by competition would work as it does in Football. Group competitions into International, European and Domestic ( in rugby include AP and LV). Cumulative bans apply to that competition but reduce the threshold/ use a a citing committee sanction to trigger. If a player transfers between clu...

Re: Organisation on Saturday not very impressive
With regard to the shirts - the team warmed up in away shirts with letters on the back. The monsoon conditions cut short the training and I suspect prompted a change into dry kit before kick-off.

Re: Billy's off...
I know what you mean Darc Tiger, he has moments of sheer class but equally moments of sheer panic. The one certainty is that this move will either make or break in terms of finding out what level of player he is. Mind you I think he may not be too impressed at playing for Gloucs at 10 if Burns spend...

Billy is off through his own choice, the club offered him a contract and he wants to go elsewhere - not sure how some see that as the fault of LFC :smt017 As long as he avoids DIY, AA is a good player - our backline defensive captain? and why should Billy get a guarentee to start ahead of him/ As ot...

Re: Ben Youngs
Youngs pass is still more in the general direction rather than a precise one. Harrison looks good but still needs another seasons experience coming of the bench as he showed with his game ending kick which wasn't!

Re: Rock On Billy.
Thought Billy had a good game and proved exactly what he is - a possible England 12 playing at 10. Some great things and some less impressive- restarts out on the full, lack of distance on tactical kicking. Doing very well but still a few tricks to learn
