Who said I legitamised it? I said I disliked it, as in DO NOT APPROVE of it (in case you were not quite sure what I meant).
If you are so sure that jeering (or making any other sort of noise that might distract them) doesn't affect a kickers performance, why are you so against it?

I don't know about anyone else but I was appalled by the Sale crowds jeering when Goodey was kicking today. It wasn't just from a few either.
