Re: Another Friday Night Classic!

I was out last night and recorded the match. It sounds so dull I will probably delete it without watching as I did to 20 unwanted world cup matches earlier. The Welsh are so boring to watch on the tv, maybe they are more interesting live? Maybe not.

Re: Still stuck in the mud! - Development updates

Me too, isn't it slow progress?

Back to the Crumbie I stuck one or two seasons as a ST in that stand and had to move because it was so uncomfortable. No back support and wider and wider people. I guess there are lot of chiropractors with seats there.

Re: England vs Italy

Happy for Ben to be MOM, happy for the man who scored three tries and happy for the Grunt man Kruis who gave 120%.

Re: Can we have a little less "arrogance" on the forum... ?

You make a fair point Cagey. There has always been a % of arrogance on this forum which some might claim is genetic. It is not good to assume superiority in a sport where it needs to be demonstrated on the pitch and I think it is reasonable to expect professional players to give their all on the pit...

Re: England vs Italy

I was pleased in the first half to see England apparently working to a plan that they all knew about. Ben showed real class and Ford showed a lack of confidence, urgency and accuracy. I liked the ambition to run and run even though the score was so low. Lots of positives from many players and I hope...

Re: Whats going wrong

Cohesion is the missing word. Tigers need to play as a team and whether you are first or third choice in a position you ought to know where to be on the pitch. Having injured players is a norm for most teams and waiting for someone is like waiting for Nirvana.

Re: Baffling and brilliant

I didn't email Cockers or the club. Yes it was a bad result but we all get indigestion or a cold sometime in the season. It is not professional to be not getting to the set pieces quickly, sorry double negative. All these super conditioned players ought to run and run. It has been a brilliant season...

Re: Leon Lloyd

I spoke with Leon on Wednesday evening at a dinner in aid of the Matt Smith and Tom Croft benefit year. Met in the doorway as he was just arriving, recognized him immediately and said in the usual daft way you do "You are Leon Lloyd, and I was there in Paris at that amazing match." which m...
