Owen Williams Confirmed to Gloucester
So the battle of Freddie and Owen is officially coming to an end, although this debatably happened when Freddie began playing 15. Where does this leave us? Do we need a second string 10, or invest in youth? Is it possible to declare Sam Harrison as a potential bench 10, or wait on Toomua's return as...

Re: Leicester Tigers 2016/17 Squad/Transfers/Contract thread
I believe Slade has confirmed he is leaving Exeter for a premiership team, he could be a great replacement for either Owen Williams or Matthew tait.
I'm guessing he'll be a similar salary to either of them.

Re: DOR aspirants, then?
If the problem was that Mauger and Cockrill wanted to run the teams in two different ways, adding another actual coach would just do the same wouldn't it? EggChasers suggested possibly getting an off pitch DOR with an expertise in squad creation, so he would essemble a team and Mauger would run it. ...

Best of luck to Cockers, he served us well, nothing to do now but hope for the future.

Re: The search for an 8 continues
Why is this subject being continually raised, we have a very good No. 8 for the ignorant he's called Lachlan McCaffrey, unless you are all talking about cover for when he.s injured or suspended? Whilst I am a huge McCaffrey fan, he is not a big line breaker. Do not get me wrong he should be in any ...

Re: The search for an 8 continues
Main two options down the drain. Anybody heard any rumours, contracts ending etc? Plenty of chatter on this No8 subject, and other postions too, on this cunningly disguised thread..... that RagingBull normally keeps well up to date. http://forum.leicestertigers.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=43903 Tha...

The search for an 8 continues
Fearns confirmed to Gloucester. Ben Morgan contract extention. Main two options down the drain. Anybody heard any rumours, contracts ending etc? Tigers confirmed they have the space in the salary cap and the money to sign a decent 8, but nothings been mentioned in a fair while, is this not considere...

Re: Jack Roberts
Jack Roberts in the sky team of the week, well done young man, put in a great shift against an experienced Munster team, let's hope Manu and him can flourish into a settled partnership, has a very Dan Hipkiss style about his game. I thought his performance was outstanding! Having seen him in previo...

Re: Extend Cockrill's Contract now! (Munster Game)
One swallow and all that? There will inevitably come a time for change. The clever bit is knowing when that is and acting before it is too late. I believe we are at that point now.......ish. Change is fine but who says a new DOR will solve all our problems. All im saying is lets make sure it's the ...

Re: Is it now time to thank Simon Cohen?
Austin is paid for the column (does he write or just lend his name?) and therefore has to come up intrigue and mischief, I doubt he gets any tip offs from board members. He hasn't actually said anything that is not in the pubic domain has he? Just a spin on whats out there. As an aside the post mat...

Re: Extend Cockrill's Contract now! (Munster Game)
Sorry Sir Gordon just because we squeaked a win or is it sneaked, provides no grounds for extending Cockers contract. We need a complete clear out at the top management and coaching echelons of the club. Although their is a chance we could finish 2nd in our pool I don't think that we'll have enough...

Agree with all points Voice of The Crumbie.
All need to remember that Munster are a quality side with alot of internationals.

Re: Is it now time to thank Simon Cohen?
Also read this Grandby halls purchase will postpone a new training ground for the players. That said if its a long term investment that will pour profits back into the club then maybe its justified. The old Granby Halls site purchase was more a case of bid now or lose it forever, very little (nil) ...

Re: Team up v Munster!
"Jack Roberts played out of his skin today. Longest pitch time I think he's had." He also had a complete :censored: moment at the end of the first half; 15 seconds to go means 15 seconds to go; it's not like in your training game "near enough". Nearly cost us points/ the game It...

Re: Team up v Munster!
It was progress in that it was better than last week, but climbing out of the cellar (and winning by a sniff) is not conquering the Alps (never mind Everest). However, I think Thompstone is our most underrated player. Always committed. Agreed on Tombstone, Old Hob, but please can we add Hamilton to...
