Re: Manu Tuilagi
The worry this year was that Manu seemed powerful and strong but he seemed to be noticeably slower. I think if he wants to get back into the England side, he needs to focus on being a bit fitter and quicker and perhaps a little less bulk might reduce the chance of injuries. As when he first broke on...

I suppose it is a lot easier to debate using facts, rather than assumptions/speculation. And technically he is discussing, he is saying that sometimes there is more than meets the eye to these things esp contract negotiations. You asked a question he replied to be best of his knowledge what more do...

Re: 2015/16 Squad/Contracts/Rumours and Transfers Thread Par
I'm honestly perplexed we have signed Brady and let Odogwu go? Surely Odogwu is the cheaper squad player with more long term upside? We don't know what happens day to day in the academy, what the staff see, what the nature of contract negotiations are etc. In fact, we are rather uninformed in our a...
Robshaw was everywhere, his work rate was phenomenal as usual, he was instrumental in turning over play along with Haskell and Itoje, all in his preferred position at 6. Clifford could be the future, but Robshaw nailed his place on on Saturday.
Robshaw played well but he is too slow...

Clifford for Robshaw. Nowell or Watson at 15 with the other on the wing and we are finally getting there. I think Te'o will get a go in the 23 this week. Re: Jacob Umaga
Not having a single player in the JWC U20s opening match day squad of 23 is pretty embarassing.

Re: Championship
Saracens still topped the league though they had loads of players missing throughout the season and still finished top, won the play offs and the Champions Cup. Don't get me wrong, I have accepted the play offs are here to stay and realise that finishing top is pointless but I'm playing devils advo...

Re: Championship
Were Saracens not a stand out team this season? They lost players during international periods etc and stayed top all season apart from 1 week. You could say if you finish top after all that, you deserve to be winners. If there were no playoffs in the Prem, then teams with loads of internationals w...

All jokes aside, are Leicester making any more signings?
As an 8 and 13/Winger seem pretty :censored: crucial.
Manu is always injured/on international duty and if Betham (god forbid) got crocked as well then we really are up sh*t creek.

Re: England Eligibility
Burgess would have always be playing out of position in Rugby Union. His physique suggested flanker (after bulking up a bit), his lack of Union experience made centre the only viable position, where he lacked the speed required at the higher levels of the game. Given another couple of seasons he mi...

Re: Jacob Umaga
The lad's 17 and the discussion is focused on whether we should have offered him more money and whether he ought to bulk up a bit. Modern rugby, ladies and gentlemen... For what it's worth, none of us know what happened behind closes doors with contract negotiations from several different clubs, so...

Re: Jacob Umaga
Rules prevent the take over of a club lower in the pecking order although dual contract relationships can be developed. Tigers are not going to put a frail 17 year old in the first team before he is ready and we cannot play more A league fixtures if other teams are unable to provide opposition, per...
