Re: So...anyone for Paris?

GT1 ~ apparently following last weekend they've been rebranded as one Irish province of Leinster. Certainly felt like it

I see Gloucester are rated by their previous achievements :smt003

What about Wasps..........oh yes, they're not there :smt043

Re: Chris Whitaker may be coming to welford road

Tuilangi ~ you in the 'know' or is that just your opinion? because lets face it, it might be the most sensible thing from where we're sitting, but Cocky might well have different ideas based upon whats happening in training / games. Iain ~ I sort of agree that Pichot makes a better option for the re...

Re: So...anyone for Paris?

And what happend to cheaper rates for early pre-sales?

A few too many people getting greedy on this competiton, what's the clubs allocation going to be this year........5k?

Re: Chris Whitaker may be coming to welford road

Whitaker is 35, what on earth do we want with a 35 y.o. unless of course if he's coming as mentor to our two very promising youngsters, then it might be worth a punt

Re: Any news on Geordan's head injury

Not wishing to drag up old topics, but I seem to remember a Sarries hooker sufferring a similar injury, from an 'accidental' tackle. Didn't that tackler get somewhere around a 13wk ban for the accident? I assume (& genuinely hope) DA won't suffer the same fate, but it would be interesting to see...

Re: CHAMPIONS!!!!!!

Dave ~ yes its absolutely the right way to be (yet again Cockers saying the right thing at the right time), but post match interviews & body language suggests that they 'will' celebrate, but in the firm knowledge that they would be back to work with a need to really focus ahead of Saturday. I ho...

Re: CHAMPIONS!!!!!!

Is it just me, or was it / is it all a bit of a strange feeling? Geordan said it all in his interviews, just won the premiership and the first thing he says "we'll have to play better next week" as have so many on here. So yes, we all jump around, we all say we're the champions, but we don...

Re: McGeechan set to leave Wasps for swansong at London Scottish

The Glaws situation is nothing surprising, you can't be there for that long, get into the right position and then so spectacularly not deliver (or even compete)........oh & then blame everyone else. As for Wasps, if (as suggested / reported) Geech is being pushed because they haven't won anythin...

Re: Retirement - Martin Corry

At the end of the game, Martin did a lap of honour, walking in front of the team and waving his way round the fans, so it was 'announced' in a way......anything earlier would have detracted from the task in hand. Congrats and massive thanks go to Martin for his dedication & service to the game i...

Re: Who will have been to all five?

4 out of 5 (well will be), my daughter was 18 the day of the 2007 final and to our utter disgrace we planned a surprise birthday party for that date.......and even more disgracefully I have to say we didn't think we'd (Tigers) be there. Loved them all, absolutely great occaissions with 2001 obviousl...

I believe refs go through 'form' patches, just like players etc, lucky for us I happen to think Dave is in possibly his best form this season, fingers crossed it won't desert him before Saturday.

Re: Countdown to Sunday

Bunchy, very worried about your first two lines ~ "usual butterflies" (obviously stomach related) followed by "chunked up", mind you the slight misread didn't help. Travelling down on Saturday, hopefully with similar plans to be in a pub watching Irish clash, but don't know how I...

Also aiming to be across on Saturday in time to get into a pub to watch the other Semi, stopping right in the centre so any suggestions for viewing would go down a treat
