The Glasgow game throws a spanner in the works as a champs cup game with low attendance but I wonder if people were expecting us to get beaten and therefore didn't come rather than avoid because of sat evening. The BBC has confirmed Ellis Genge isn't in the 28-man training squad for the Italy match. However, Mike Williams is.

Mako put in a 70 minute shift on Friday at Wuzza and appears to have come through it unscathed. I'd be inclined to start with Marler with Mako on the bench.

Also had we won and now been playing Saints there is no way on this Earth the match would have been a sell out. Not even close. Who are we going to buy as our back up 10?
