Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)
I would guess the Toby Booth connection might have had a bearing on a move to the Ospreys, plus there is a George North hole that needs filling there. Like OHC not sure moving from LI style rugby to Tigers's has been easy or possibly pleasurable. But they knew which club they were signing for and h...

If we are truly honest how many Tigers would actually get into Leinster's best XV, Pollard for certain, any others would be 50/50 calls at best & as that includes Montoya & Wiesse it shows the quality of Leinster.

Re: Over the cap (again)
So this is more overspending discovered from a season we already breached the salary cap in. It begs the question, did the club knowingly not disclose this to PRL, or did PRL not identify it as 'salary cap spend' in the first audit? The former would be a cover-up by the club. The latter would call ...

Re: Over the cap (again)
Buried in the News Section, even below the blank article of our HC's thoughts on Friday nights game.
Yet again the inability of PRL to get a grip on these matters beggers belief though.

When it comes to 9's we should bare in mind YBY could retire at anytime, for me Whiteley isn't good enough to be a 3rd choice let alone a 2nd choice.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)
Sounds like the cap is only going up a season then back down potentially. If so it does make you wonder if this player limit will actually come in. If it's going up for one season, what's the point? (Not having a go at you at all, by the way) It's only going to put the clubs in more of a pickle in ...

Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) - Premiership - Friday 29th March 2024 - KO: 19-45
According to the team announcement Cracknell has made 110 appearances for Tigers...that looks like Reffell's figures so it's either copy & paste or a "latish" change. (Illione should be starting but that leason is being ignored it would appear) At this rate George Martin will make more...

Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) - Premiership - Friday 29th March 2024 - KO: 19-45
Funny because the DNA of Tigers when I started watching them was based around getting the ball our to our 2 exceedingly rapid wingers, against any semi competitive opposition the result often depended on whether a certain D.Richards was available, those days also involved a FH who never tackled anyo...

I’m curious about Chessum Jnr and why he wasn’t picked above Carter in the cup. Last year he was as impressive if not more so that Carnduff in this years Under 20s 6 nations. So where has he been since? Is he injured? Harlequins brought Cunningham-South ( who played in that same team and was argot ...
