Re: National No Smoking Day - Wed 9 March
Which begs the question, what does Rizzo give up? Dancing naked round the maypole? Or is that just my imagination running riot? Oh dear Kinny - you are in real trouble now. :smt018 I go with BJ's way of thinking. It might not necessarily be atheism, it just seems a shame to spoil a good routine.

Re: The Principality of Welfordland
Not all of us are interested in their beer being pulled by buxom wenches. Now a finely muscled male arm would be a nice thing to contemplate......
I suspect that most of the leggy blondes in Oadby are attached to Tigers players.

Who are you calling totty?Kinoulton wrote:I think that with CT, DCat, Rizzo et al, we have more than enough totty to satisfy the needs of us lusty rugby chaps in Welfordland.
But should we open the "Bistro De Castro" then some leggy French skinny bints wouldn't go amiss.

Re: The Principality of Welfordland
What is really distressing me is that nobody has mentioned beer. Having sampled some very nice ale in Richmond on Saturday (shame we couldn't sample some very nice rugby as well, but there you go) I would like to suggest that we have infinite supplies of Youngs and Fullers ales, at least as a starte...

Absolutely. If they had used SOTW from the start it might have seemed a little more credible.

DON'T GO THERE! There are previous threads that have discussed this at length.

No minutes. The Mothers don't get out of bed for anything less than an eon. An eon? I want a lie in! Quite happy to chaff sort - sounds rather pleasurable actually. I would dearly love to start suggesting people, but as Bill says, it could be libellous. Actually, I might start with a thing rather t...

No, it's more the case of the people I know who drive 4x4 cars. I really would not want to think about their didgerie-doos, regardless of the size!

OK, so how many clicked on this link?Kinoulton wrote:I guess there is no point in daleks learning to deal with stairs as the combined forces of risk assessors and http://www.we-never-pay-out-insurance.com will have banned stairs from all buildings and have them replaced by cushioned lifts.

All 4X4 drivers are, by right, muscular he-men with an excess of testosterone coursing through their veins and the libido equivalent of Superman on viagra. And it's not true that we have small didgerie-doos. Not some of the 4x4 drivers that I know. I'm coming over all unnecessary just thinking abou...

Re: One for the Grammar Police (Pt 2) - or It's not just us!
Interesting spelling on Aviva Premiership web site. "Farrell temprament earns McCall praise" http://www.premiershiprugby.com/premiership/news/27600.php Easily done, of course - understandable on forums such as this, but a 'professional' bunch probably should do better. :smt024 Unless they...

Re: The Principality of Welfordland
Following on from the deathknell thread, what about we start our own principality? We can ban certain tv programmes, behaviour, rugby teams etc and form our own constitution. We'll also need a figurehead. I am liking Prince Thomas of Waldrom but open to suggestions... A few starter points - I moot ...

Re: The death knell of Daybreak?
Exactly so, Kinny. I leave for work at 6.55, and the BBC offers what is required in terms of news - including local, which ITV can't seem to keep Brum-free - weather, travel & sport.
