Ref! Link v Worcester

I hope that you all tuned in ok for Ref! Link today. All previous problems have been resolved. Spoke to some of the Worcester coaching staff who use the Ref! Link and said it was very clear. With regard to the games at the Walkers Stadium - I can confirm that Ref! Link will be operating at the last ...

Re: Ref link

The Reflink company seems to be extremely lackadaisical and amateurish. This is at least the second time this season that it hasn't worked and, once again, a feeble excuse has been given. Every effort is made to maintain the system. There have been a couple of games where there has been a problem o...

Re: Ref link

The Reflink that I was using was picking up the Ref where I was situated. I was asked by one of the stewards if there was a problem, and looked into it as soon as it was brought to light. As said earlier, the fault has been identified and a new transmitter will be installed at the next home game. A ...

Re: Ref link

There was a problem today that at the time could not be explained. Some users were able to pick up the transmission in a very limited area. The problem appears to be with the Transmitter in that it developed a fault during the match. A new transnmitter will be in place for the next game. There have ...

Re: Ref! Link at Northampton

Ref! Link transmits on the same frequency at Bath, Northampton, Worcester and Tigers.

Hence, the Ref! Link radios will work at any of the above grounds.

Re: RefLink - excellent

Glad you enjoyed it. The feed was taken from Sky and should only have been the Refs mic that should have been heard on Ref! Link. This was a one off.

Thanks

The sets came with two channels that could be used. Ref! Link only uses E1. The channel E2 will not pick up anything specific and will pick up mixed signals within the area it is being used.

Whilst the disruption may have been described as temporary, it became evident that the fault was in the gantry, which has no access during the game. Once again, I apologise for the loss of transmission during yesterdays game. The fault has been identified and Ref! Link will resume normal service at ...

Apology from Ref!Link

Ref! Link would like to apologise for the service niot being available for todays game. The kit was tested prior to kick off and a fault developed at some point before the game kicked off. The fault has been identified and was found to be in an area where there is no access to fix it, during the gam...

The Ref! Link radios that you have at Welford Road are on a different frequency to Twickenham. However, if you are going to the away games at Northampton (January) and Bath (November), make sure that you take your radios with you. The Ref! Link frequency is on the same band as Welford Road and you w...

Re: RefLink

Hi all. I am a Saints fan but have a question regarding reflink. When I came to watch the match a couple of weeks ago I noticed you use the same reflink units as us. Do you have any quality problems with your units? In particular ref speech cutting out? We are having a few probs and its hard to kno...

Ref! Link at Bath

Just a reminder that the Ref! Link sets which are in use at Welford Road this season, can also be used at Bath, Northampton and Worcester. If you are going to the EDF game at Bath this coming weekend, dont forget to take your Ref!Link with you and keep in touch with the Ref (Dean Richards) and his d...
