Re: Bath v Northampton on Tuesday

Five Quid!!! Crikey, I would have though that they would have been as gold dust given the small capacity of the ground and the importance of the game. Still sarries gave away FREE tickets for Saturday's game

Re: Leicester v Harlequins

It really is counter productive to have nothing to play for when a couple of teams pull away and no point coming in first, perhaps we ought to get rid of the playoffs so clubs have to play EVERY week to win something :smt003 I think there IS something to play for. Everyone of the people I have spoke...

Re: Sarries v Harlequins - Live on Sky 3

Did my ears deceive me or did a sarries coach say to Martin Bayfield on the ITV4 show last night that they had "given away lots of free tickets" so expected a good crowd? Is this why attendances at Wombly look so good?

No, no you're completely wrong. It's all Chalky Whites fault for setting it up wrong in the first place.

Re: Newcastle v Leicester

Thank you Chunter: that would fill me with joy if it were true. I thought that no-one had noticed the post. It is difficult to do a visual joke in words. If McLachlan really is a Tiger then I'll buy him a drink anytime in the ABC bar before a game

I was trying to find Quins reaction but after rummaging about their site I can't find a message board like this. Maybe comment is verboten. :smt017

Aye, and there's me, all on me own at Sixways shouting "Stop kicking it away, we need the bonus point of the fourth try" But perhaps it wasn't just me...

Re: Sarries v Harlequins - Live on Sky 3

Who do we fear most then? Look: I've always believed that the playoffs are a separate competition. The English Champions are the ones who come top of the table after each club has played 22 matches. If we win the playoffs as well then great.

Sarries v Quins tonight for free.

For those, like me, who can't afford pay TV you will be delighted to know that on Freeview Channel 11 (Sky 3) the Sarries/ Quins game is on tonight at 17:15. A good chance to get a look at the form of both our next home opponenets.

Re: Leeds or Worcester for the drop?

From the broader perspective of the Premiership it will be a shame if either go. Wuss going would remove all 1st class rugby north of the M4 and west of the M1 until Sale. Leeds departure means only 2 clubs north of the Trent.
