This is a problem for England at the moment. There aren't many experienced players worthy of selection right now, let alone captaincy.
What about Tom Palmer?

Re: Floody/Ford or Staunton??
Flood is by far our best fly half, no reason to drop him.

Re: Rugby Club and George Ford
In my opinion, this highlights one of the problems with Northen Hemisphere rugby - an over-obsession with size. Many of our players spend too much time in the gym and not enough time practising basic skills.

Re: Team v Sale
Great run from Agulla, must have broken through 5 or 6 tackles!
Tigers are a second half team.

Re: Rugby Club and George Ford
What's the rush? Young players (usually) need to be eased in slowly. He's already played a lot of first team rugby this season.
If he is "the future", doesn't mean he's ready for the present.

Re: TERRACE and fans - threads merged
That would be a "no" to examples of previous assaults at WR then...
And no evidence of LFC's behaviour, other than unverified internet messageboard posts.
Your only argument is that I am "silly". Well done, you win!

I don't think verbal abuse is what we're talking about here.
Could you provide examples of all these assaults?
What evidence do you have as to the behaviour of LFC in this matter?

Re: Wigglesworth
Must be very disappointing for him, I thought he played very well when he got on the pitch in the WC. Saracens will be fine with de Kock (haven't seen their next choice, Spencer, play), and apparently they're not looking to recruit. I would have thought that the opportunity to sign an injury replace...

Re: Rougerie eye gouging
I'm not surprised it wasn't cited - these things are difficult to spot straight away. The problem, as I see it, is that after just 3 days such a serious offence is seemingly completely immune to punishment. I think there should be an extended citing window for offences that are both: A) Difficult to...

Yes Bluntiger, I read that. I suppose whether you choose to believe absolutely what you read on an internet messageboard is up to you.

Re: Rougerie eye gouging
Rougerie's fingers clearly being raked across McCaw's eyes. No legitimate reason for his hands to be anywhere near there. I'm sorry, but for an incident as serious as this, which amounts to attempted GBH, the citing period shouldn't mean anything. I know this kind of thing is pretty common in France...

Re: TERRACE and fans - threads merged
Seems to me this is a private matter between those actually involved. I doubt any posters on here know what is actually going on, and it's none of our business - in my opinion. If a security guard in Tesco is assaulted by a customer, are Tesco obliged to inform every customer exactly what is happeni...
