I do know what you mean.

But it is a very good thing to have once you've got the power, technique & discipline you need.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work

Based solely on appearances you could easily let go Porter, Watson, Dolly and see zero impact. Now ofc it’s a bit simplistic as others could be injured next season and they could be fine. The message from Andrea and others is that we don’t need the same size of squad any longer due to 10 game prem ...

Re: The Rolling Maul Podcast - Special Guests - Latest: Andrea Pinchen

The term professional would imply that they do it as a job for a financial reward. It was a well put together podcast by two knowledgable rugby fans and Andrea Pinchen answered the questions that were put to her, without breaking any confidences. I did not intend to imply they got financial reward ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work

As a 2nd choice, Cronin is great... But further limiting Whitcombe’s game time? Tricky one TBH I think this is a classis one where the young player just has to be better. Cronin isn't a world beater & he's a clear target for Whitcombe to over take. If he'd going to be a test player then he need...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work

Some players don't settle in certain clubs for loads of reasons, see Charlie Atkinson for us. West's got a body of work to look at so I wouldn't over focus on just the most recent season at Saracens. You want a stable of props ideally & he'd be a fine option.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work

Thing is Scott isn't really slowing down, so I don't really care if he's 30, 34 or 24.

We've had great success with worrying about if players are good enough & ignoring their age recently. We should never sign or release someone purely on their age.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/rugby-union/2024/02/28/eligibility-law-six-nations-england-scotland-ireland/ Thoughts? Article about national eligibility in Rugby Union, switching allegiances etc. Focuses on Van der Merwe, Tompkins, Feyi-Wabosi and James Lowe. I would strongly agree that eligibility sh...

Re: New Supporters Forum?

Like I said, nothing questions. Was Mr. Cohen ever pulled on his “no stone left unturned Worldwide” search that all of a sudden morphed into a “has to have domestic experience” search? Er,nope! Was the board ever pulled on why when they said that Murphy would get the job on merit that he got the job...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work

I think the difference is that you go and visit the nice bits of other cities and live in the everyday bits of your own.

Leicester is a considerably better place to live than most of these other places. I will concede it isn't quite as good as a tourist as Bath.

Also bought mine today. As for the match, anyone know what Will Hurd's injury actually was/is? His availability will be key for us. I doubt Borthwick will release Heyes for the match even though he is unlikely to pick him, and could just as easily have someone else as cover in the unlikely event of ...

Re: Next seasons season ticket

The email from Andrew Pinchen makes reference to additonal benefits for season ticket holders. Have these benefits been communicated? All i've had is an email telling me the new price of my season tickets. which have gone up by 27%. The email from the CEO last week didn't promise *additional* benef...

Re: Next seasons season ticket

Sadly that will be me and my wife too. The Terrace ST price is going up from £290 if purchased before May 6th 2023 (it might have been cheaper if there was an early bird last year for existing ST holders but I don't have that information) to £320 if purchased before March 31st. There seems to be a ...
