Re: Alan Dickens - Tigers lack of attack coach.
Sorry for any confusion.......speculation about what was being investigated for is not helpful and should be avoided at this moment in time, not knowing the facts.
Thanks

Re: Alan Dickens - Tigers lack of attack coach.
so it sounds like he was under investigation by the RFU for something, that is no longer the case and he hasn't been deemed guilty, according to Adam Witty, therefore surely the situation is simple, return to work with everyone else after this break or tender your resignation... And Tigerbeat if yo...

Re: Alan Dickens - Tigers lack of attack coach.
Just a reminder that we do not know what the nature of Alan Dickens absence has been and this speculation is not helpful or advised at this time, without the facts. No official statement has been made by the Club. Whatever has happened will surely come out in time and the Club will deal with this wi...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
But Cole isn’t being picked to start so isn’t involved in the first scrum or two ? I could just about understand why we would still start Cole, wouldn’t agree with it at all but sort of understand the now historical rationale of some people’s views …but to have him off the bench doesn’t make any se...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/68223487 Willemse gets 3 weeks, two 6 Nations matches, as the panel deemed it ‘disproportionate’ for his 4 and 3 week bans to run sequentially!? He would also have been available to play for his club side in the weeks banned...4 weeks reduced to 3 weeks if he...

Re: Leicester Tigers Women 2023/24 - Vicky Macqueen in 'The Magnificent Fifteen'
And with Sale's continuing misfortunes, those two bonus points lift us off the bottom of the table! :smt001 Disappointingly they do have a game in hand though... Yeah, but it's Gloucester-Hartpury Tigers and Sale meet again before the end of the season so that is likely to be the decider who finish...

Re: Saudi Arabia in talks to buy stake in Tigers
Understand that this is a hot topic and borders on politics. Feel free to discuss the topic of pros and cons of the investment / plans for the game but please leave the political views out. This is a sports forum and discussion should remain around the rugby and its place in todays world. The whys a...

Re: Saudi Arabia in talks to buy stake in Tigers
Excellent points - I don’t believe they are allowed to own more than 10% of each club. We own the ground but don’t own the training ground - maybe they will build us a new one?? They may also pay for rock bottom 🤣😂 I recall the maximum stake being 20% so an investment of 19% was being banded around.

Re: Saudi Arabia in talks to buy stake in Tigers
I don’t have that detail however we lost £3m last year and millions the year before, with shareholders putting £13m in to keep us going - not what I would call sustainable. See thread ref financial results for Tigers https://forum.leicestertigers.com/viewtopic.php?t=48211#:~:text=These%20have%20now...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work
Both Ben Herring and Dave Denton were good for Tigers but both had regular concussions and/or symptoms forcing them to quit playing the game. They could have gone further in their careers.

Re: Tigers v Quins (A) - Premiership - Friday 26th January 2024 - KO- 19:45
I hope you’re not accusing me of having an amateur mindset !! My view is that it’s the pinnacle of a players career and no one should question that I begrudge no one the chance of playing for their country, but Rugby's insistence of playing World Cups and 6 Nations during league seasons is amateur ...
