Re: 6 Nations 2023
One thing that is always absent in the refs discussion of red/yellow cards is the question of time ie did he have time to adjust his body height. The narrative always seems to be that the tackling player did not dip, or maintained an upright stanch. In a lot of the situations I don't think the tacki...

Re: Tigers v Bath (H)- Saturday 04th March 2023 - KO 15:00
I wish people would stop defending incompetent referees. They are highly paid professionals and although it isn’t an easy job you should be able to spot forward passes, foot in touch and ball grounding after multiple replays on the big screen. There are too many incorrect decisions in every game ma...

Re: Other games - 03-05th March 2023
Terrible TMO- nothing compelling about a forward pass- it’s on the 22- there’s a line for them as well and they still can’t see it. Just so shocking. Really annoying, when the suspicion of a knock on is replayed many times (Scott’s) and chalked off, but forward passes are pretty well ignored. There...

Re: Tigers post Borthwick - next Head Coach?
Wiggy going must mean they have told him he's not getting the job, was rumoured a few weeks ago it was Townsend post world cup, Leo Cullen also been mentioned in the past and pretty sure I saw Dave Rennie mentioned too. I really want us to get Sam Vesty in from Saints to run the attack, if that mea...

Also, lets remember, apart from Montoya, non of the names quoted above were big stars when they came here. Either academy grads or off the radar signings

If a win wouldn’t guarantee a home tie there’s something really wrong with this competition

Re: Premiership Rugby
TMO should have the raw feed of the game, which they can look at, replay and review if they see as necessary. Or as referred by the referee. That should be it.
If that all gets too complex, the TMO role should purely be as asked by the actual referee

Re: Premiership Rugby
Do TMOs just see the match, or do they see the match with replay’s etc as done by the BT sport producers? Because if they do, it doesn’t matter what Healy et al say, as soon as there is a replay the TMO is drawn to it. More to the point, if BT don’t pick up on something, does then the TMO? The TMO ...

I’d like them to get rid of tactical subs. I’m fairly sure the ‘bomb squads’ add to the injury potential. Might help to trim squad sizes too

I’m with most people on here. No issue with them taking the jobs - you get offered a bigger, more prestigious job in any profession, you take it. He’s won the Prem, he wants to win something bigger. Can’t really see what the club could have done, if they did tie him to a longer contract, that’s grea...

Re: Wasps in the mire - now in administration
I agree with Northern tiger. It all smacks of Dayglo pounding the corridors of power with steam coming out of his nostrils, ranting about the clubs wonderful heritage and how it mustn’t be lost. Sweeney will have been wined and dined to the nth degree. He did try that argument before they went pop ...

I don’t even pretend to understand the financial ins and outs. But it smacks horribly of the old established side being treated much better than the upstarts who had the temerity to dine at the top table
