Re: England v South Africa
One point about the end of the match. England were given a penalty right at the end of the game. Farrell looked around looking for a decision but none came. Why didn't he either go for goal or tap and go is beyond me -so what did he do? Kicked the ball to touch. Can't see the ABs doing that - can yo...

I would love to see this in some form as part ot Tigers heritage somewhere within our boundaries - whatever they may be! It doesn't have to be a grand statement but would be great if it was☝

Re: Player abuse by fans!
Tend to agree with mol2 on this one. The action was totally unacceptable but understand the feeling behind it - somehow I think more of those who have criticised the action totally, deep down share the frustration. I have been a season ticket holder for over 25 years and in truth I am considering wh...

Wonderful words - thank you. I'm sure his family would appreciate themstrawclearer wrote:Too young. So, so sad. R.I.P.

Re: Hartley to Captain Lions? Really?
Dylan I have to say is not my favourite player by a long way but IMHO henhas grown into the role. Is he the best hooker? Perhaps not. Has he the best temperment? No. Has he done a good job recently? Yes.
Given that competition is pretty poor then yes I think he's the man much as I don't like to admit

Re: Leicester - the 'friendly' team????
Friendly as a family club is one thing but friendly meaning soft is another. The team need to get some round spherical objects and develop a ruthless instinct

Re: Emasculated Manu
Sounds like the club are sensibly protecting an asset. Its not a groin tear but a tightening which may be around scar tissue from his ops.

Re: Tigers v Bath
As near to an 80 minute performance as I've seen for along time. Tait at centre is probably a good idea as thats where he learnt his trade and won his caps. Full back still seems a problem to me- today Veainu is ok nad can add to attack but kicking to touch leaves a bit to be desired. All in all a h...

Re: Olympic men's 7s
Like many I was delighted for Fiji to win - a sheer joy to watch. I hear that Ben Ryan has left them by leaving at the top. If so, a great sevens coach and I wonder where he will go. To the Fijians he will be a god. That said a great effort by GB - albeit England with the token Celt !

Sorry to see him go especially after he missed quite a few games with injury so didn't probably get the chance to compete as a first team regular.

Re: Dean Ryan
I have always thought that Ryan punched above his weight. May be totally irrelevant but my mind goes back to when he played for Wasps. The team was warming up at the club house end when there was the white picket fence and a young lad of about 8 asked him " excuse me Mr Ryan but could I have yo...

Re: What if the Lions ?
Definitely not Gatland or any of the Welsh coaches, or Scots or Irish for that matter. I wasn't happy with Eddie Jones appointment, but fair play to him, it's a one horse race for the Lions job now. Apart from the fact that the Lions is an anachronistic throwback to the halcyon days of amateur rugb...

I wasn't referring to the management but the players.
