Re: Bristols bloodgate?
For me this was on a par with bloodgate, but then again bloodgate was not a major thing but the attempted cover up made it a lot worse for all involved. Again we have weak refereeing causing problems, Tempest should have acted earlier with the cards, and once PL declared his prop was not fit to retu...

Re: Wigglesworth
The selection of Wigglesworth for this game showed a loss of nerve by the head coach, Wigglesworth has been off the pace in the past few games, so on what basis he was selected as a starter is something only the coaches know but I think it showed a lack of ambition and a conservatism that put the te...

Re: Is Wray at it again?
Wray should have been charged with bringing the game into disrepute and banned from having anything further to do with Rugby, or any company he controls having anything to do with the game.

Re: Refereeing Consistency
I’ve come to the conclusion on this and other forums, refereeing performance is as follows:- 1. Your team wins. Ref was excellent. 2. Your team loses. Ref was rubbish. NOTES:- 1. For Ref, you can also insert “Ref” “TMO”, occasionally “Linesman” and “citing officer” 2. This does not apply to Karl Di...

Re: TMO vs. Quins
Is there a mechanism to appeal a yellow card?
Otherwise it stays on Genge's record and could affect the length of any ban later on.

Re: QUINS (H) - ROUND 19 - 15th May 2021
In all the complaining about the TMO , to which I mostly agree! a point was missed now Genge should not now be cited as it was dealt with in the game, so he will be available next week, unless Foley is also in charge of Citing.

Re: Refereeing Consistency
Disciplinary panels and citing commissioners should be taken out of the jurisdiction of the local Union, but should be run by world rugby, this would go some way to remove the differing interpretations we can all see. The laws are the same so why should something cost a Premiership player several we...

Re: SAINTS AT HOME 24TH APRIL 2021
Frustrating game, our England half backs came off second best to their opposite numbers, which we have come to expect, they are both fine players but too often play turgid kick chase rugby, everyone seemed off the pace, the forward drives were not well controlled, the pack played like a bunch of str...

Re: RELEGATION SUSPENDED UNTIL 2024-25?
In regards to punishment for salary cap breaches it has always been an anomaly that the club gets punished but those that are responsible get away unblemished, if the league was ring fenced and another breach was uncovered it would make more sense for the CEO and DOR and owners to be banned from any...

Re: RELEGATION SUSPENDED UNTIL 2024-25?
I am all in favour of ring fencing, I see no benefit in the yo-yo of promotion and relegation, it is just another excuse to allow a rich individual to pump money into a team happily playing in the championship so they can claim the kudos of the rags to riches story. It does nothing for the quality o...

Re: Other European Last 16 Ties
On a serious note this is where the players union and the RFU should take a lead, there were many head contact situations over the WE that went unpunished, the whole purpose of the rash of red cards we have seen in England this season is, we are told to reduce head trauma and make the game safer, if...

Re: Other European Last 16 Ties
Apologies if this is covered elsewhere but the the comments from Austin and to a lesser extent LD about the camera angles supplied to the TMO was interesting, we know the feed is from French TV but surely the TMO can demand as many angles as he needs, they said there are 14 cameras, so I assume the ...

Re: TMO question
The strangest incident was the disallowed Tigers try in the second half, the ref said he just saw two players running into each other with the TMO venement that it was foul play, Dickenson seemed to be unwilling to argue with the TMO and asked several times about what the TMO saw but he did not seem...
