Re: Why didn't it happen at WR?
Why is it that Leinster have started like dynamos against Saints, 3 tries in 27 minutes, huge pressure forcing errors, when this didn't happen when MO'C was at Leicester? Answers on a postcard please! (Or post it here :smt003 ) I thought that did happen vs Montpellier 24 v 3 inside 15 minutes ! :sm...

Re: Tigers v Montpellier - threads merged
We played with real intensity across the whole XV for about 20 mins total yesterday, but then played to the opposition strengths in broken play. Failure to tackle was a part of it, but at times it looked more like a game of sevens with some bystanders on the pitch unsure what to do in either attack ...

Re: Tigers v Montpellier - threads merged
I haven't read all the above posts or seen my recording of it on TV ( I was at the match but tiger cub minding duties meant I couldn't concentrate on the match as I usually do ! But by all accounts by the 'experts' I spoke to - it was Tigers best performance of the season so far. All I can say is we...

Re: Tigers v Montpellier - threads merged
Never trust the French - love it But did the interviewer say that Toby had just singed a contract there? think he asked "why would you ..." Flood side stepped the question well enough 'Singed' - does that mean he has burned his bridges? :smt003 Or were his comments about not trusting the ...

Re: Tigers vs Quins
we can accept the refs decision every time , even if its wrong - same with the offside infringements and not straight line out throw ins, I somehow think the 80/20 rule kicks in when refs officiate at WR

Re: M69/M1 roadworks again (Updated)
it appeared closed when I got there at about 10:55 so the guy I gave a lift to told me which way to go instead of following the diversion signs
We got lost
eventually got onto the Narborough road and picked up the diversion signs to the A5 and back onto M69
Why the M69 is closed I don't know

Re: Tigers vs Quins
It should be very easy to define a forward pass - look at the majority of the Qiuns passes last week (and offsides but don't get me started) 1) I believe the receiver of the pass should be behind the thrower when the ball is passed. 2) if the pass is flat i.e. 90 degrees to the touch line it is not ...

Parking at Welford road
Years ago I used to park in the huge carpark behind the Local Hero , the car park gestapo arrived. Ruddy Leicester council I just got back from the USA - (missed 2 games) . However Drove over from Warwick today for the hairy Queens match. Expected roadworks problems by the M1 / M69 - but that was OK...

Re: NFL blockng - becoming an epidemic?
Bump - several vintage examples of blocking by Walker today, just a couple of metres ahead of the runner but just enough to block tacklers while seeming to have over-run. Have the Laws been suspended BTW 1 in through the gate is legal, otherwise not. Why not penalise Hopper, Robson etc? 2 ball at t...

Re: Worst player today...
I Agree so did the crumbie terrace around me except for the Quins fans . Allowed some dodgy banana throw ins at the line outs too'Bill W (2) wrote:Was Wigglesworth!
He allowed Hopper to be permanently offside; Lambert to collapse scrums at will; and any number or players to enter the ruck from the side.

Re: Worst player today...
Can't single out one player as being bad but we did not seem organised. several good individual efforts which weren't backed up by others - maybe another 9 points would have helped today .
Maybe the main man should go back in his box as the 2 games he has attended we have lost !
just kiddin btw
