Re: PRC Round 4 - Tigers vs Saints
It must be massively difficult to ref a game these days as a rookie, at that level, without the safety blanket of a TMO looking specifically for things like high tackles

Re: PRC Round 4 - Tigers vs Saints
Reid's distribution is just poetry at times. The two passes off his left hand against Exeter were sublime but the one today to Jonah for his first score was a lovely read of what was in front of him and perfect execution. Losing Reffell was a blow and didn't help us slowing down their ball. Boladau ...

Re: Canada Embarrassing?
Another joke of a match this morning. 64 minutes and the Scots are winning 47-0. What a complete waste of time. The Scots can even afford a shocker of a forward pass which the so called best ref completely missed and had to rescued by the TMO. For the love of God, get out of the negativity cave! We...

Re: PRC Round 3 - Bath vs Tigers
Hell - get over yourselves. We beat the Auld Enemy - rejoice. Bask in the sunshine while we can. Games are won and lost by small margins usually down to interpretation. Its a game played and refereed by humans. We had a great defensive effort , something lacking last season, we look a better attack...

Re: PRC Round 3 - Bath vs Tigers
Who gives a monkeys - either it was the correct call and we won or it wasn't and we benefitted from an incorrect call (which doesn't happen to us all that often these days!!) Not sure why, as Tigers supporters why we're bickering over if it should or shouldn't have been allowed to stand. Or maybe, n...

Re: PRC Round 3 - Bath vs Tigers
Good away win though, apparently Reffell was excellent. Judging from the tweets he got an ovation from both sets of fans when he was replaced. Wuss result aside, it's not been a bad start to the season. I'd have taken two wins from three before the start of the season (expecting to beat Wuss and lo...

Re: Is Lavanini going to be a liability?
Well with TPN getting a red for the same, we are nothing if not consistent. For what it’s worth Lavanini was clearly too pumped up. Just lost his head a bit with the tackle (and almost Farrells) and deserved a red. Most on this board have said we need an enforcer and some dark arts grit. We have it...

Re: PRC Round 3 - Bath vs Tigers
Doh, TPN red carded for a high shot. Backs To the wall stuff now, although I'm sure it was Murphy's fault

Re: Borthwick
Tell that to MOC he was sacked for gross incompetence, this is a planned addition to the coaching team, if Geordan was being replaced he would have gone and Mike Ford appointed caretaker until after the World Cup If you believe BT Sport Mike Ford is already DoR. That was the tag underneath his name...

Re: Borthwick
Not sure I like the inference that Murphy may not feel he's been given the time to complete the job? I would like to think that he would be DoR with Borthwick HC, what do others think? I would imagine Borthwick would be coming in with the full knowledge and consent of Murphy Or does Egerton know mo...

Re: PRC Round 2 - Tigers vs Exeter
The scrum was poor all game to me, which was a shame as everything else was pretty spot on. Liebenberg and Green both looked handy, and Reid is already an obvious upgrade on Joe Ford as the swing/backup fly half (bar the duff kickoff). It does worry how reliant we are on Thompson to turn the ball o...

Re: PRC Round 2 - Tigers vs Exeter
Am I alone in thinking that our scrum became more dominant after OTY went off? With Cole and Genge out we perhaps need the extra power in the scrum that Polota Nau gives? I think it was more to do with Bateman and Hayes going off tbh and the scrum didn't look that much more secure when TPN, Cortes ...
