Re: Articles: Jack van Poortvliet & Osman Dimen

An aggressive tighthead who holds a black belt, he'll be able to look after himself. He's one step closer to the first team now with Cortes going. If he can demonstrate a good carrying game and a stable scrum then he could well make his debut during the mid week game coming up. Certainly with Lady ...

You’re of course absolutely right, but there’s a lot more up close and personal touching in our game.

Re: Team for Exeter

As Mark62 says when selecting the team the opinions of Steve Borthwick and ourselves may vary, just because he has seen te players training each day and can assess their current fitness and form, and we have not seen the players on the pitch for several months and some we have never seen, not even ...

Re: Team for Exeter

I note that the Premiership Referees for this weekend have not been announced yet, BUT so much relies on the correct unbiased and competent Referee. At the Tigers V Exeter home game on 21st December where we lost in the end 22 - 31 despite two good Jonny May tries. The Referee was Exeter local boy ...

Re: Articles: Jack van Poortvliet & Osman Dimen

Interesting about his surname too. Jonny Law and Sam Edwards too Hopefully one of them will start putting some real pressure on L...

Re: Team for Exeter

Absolutely no reason imo not to put the strongest available team out against Exeter, our opinions and those of Sir Steve may of course vary.

Following a more normal turnaround of 7 days then comes 3 games in 8 days period, when squad rotation will be necessary

Re: The Nadolos

No such thing as uncooked or raw black pudding as its cooked by boiling in its skin as part of its manufacturing process. As a boy I always eat in it's as sold cooked state and frankly did not know that some folks cooked it for a second time by frying or grilling to make it turn black. It's just a ...

Re: Team for Exeter

Having watched a number of the games from New Zealand, one of the things that is clear, that IF the premiership games are officiated to the same standard , a 7 who can stay strong on his feet and go for the ball, without latching, will be invaluable. When has that ever been the case though? We can ...
