Re: Castro confirms Tigers departure
Loretta's account strikes me as very likely, but underpinning this, I suspect is Castro's health issue, with coeliac disease and it's consequence for his diet and form. I remember having several asthmatics on the park in the past, but suspect coeliac is rather more devastating in practice for someon...

Re: Best underrated tigers XV
John Lilley would be a great fullback who never achieved an England Cap (maybe one) but was a great club servant.
Van der westheusen was awesome, but uncapped? not sure. Under rated? Never!

Re: East Midlands Final - the wanted final!!
I would reckon these two clubs could bring 40,000 members and followers with them. If the clubs were allocated that number of seats the stadium could be filled in a much more satisfactory way, and could also put together larger coherent transport packages. I'd like to see us taking over the stadium,...

Re: stand up and stop other people see tries being scored
Next time you miss the action because of the premature eruption of the person in front of you lean forward and say "Sorry mate, I didn't see that. What happened?" This informs them of your loss, invites them to help you out and therefore helps build the atmosphere of watching something tog...

Re: Tigers Ground
I don't much care for the idea that every game needs to be near capacity before the ground can be developed. When Crumbie built his stand it went underused for a long time. It was partly the availability of Rugby that made it attractive to me so I and many others slowly came to be regulars, thus bui...

Re: Quins- especially Robshaw and Care
I think
second name on each row = started last game v 'quins
first name = started last but one game
last name = predicted starter next game.

Re: Champioship nonsense
I have a feeling of amused fondness about it really, but then I'm not much involved. Generally speaking I'm sure play offs are a sign of the triumph of the moneymen over the clubmen. It's interesting, to me, that Bedford don't much want to come up. If I were a Bedford fan I'd maybe not want to lose ...

Re: New Kit design - unveiled today
It's a very acceptable shirt, although overpriced and I would have no issues with wearing it as general leisure wear; last years was probable fesrivalwear for the physically lithe. It's not really a Tigers shirt. Yesterday's match looked like one between a team dressed as Irish and one as the barbar...

Re: World Cup Venues confirmed
All in all it's a sound economical decision in the current climate. I'd have probably gone to see Namibia vs Portugal (or anything similar) at our place. I won't bother with the Walkers, so saving money. Reasons, other than principle, are no standing, bad beer, and Nurenburg rally levels of enthusia...

New rules rarely help anything
except to empower rule making bodies.

Re: Tigers v London Irish
Meanwhile back at match... Somehow I always enjoy the last home match of the main season, and I always enjoy the Irish match. Unlike some, they come here to play a bit, and always try to enjoy their Rugby. They usually play with freedom and ambition which work well on a dry day in early summer. I'll...

Re: Tigers Catering Feedback.
IQ below 70 is probably below the threshold of this maths, which requires abstract reasoning as well as simultaneous addition and subtraction. Just saying. On non verbal reasoning tests a smart dog, such as a Collie might have a notional IQ of around that figure, but this doesn't readily transfer in...
