Re: Cockerill - blame the hierarchy
BK is not the new Aunt Sally. However, at the time of his appointment to the BoD, and since, I have wondered whether or not this represents a conflict of interest with his day job as a BT pundit and occasional journalist. Wondering this is not to take a pop, nor to fling mud, but a legitimate questi...

Re: Racing 92 v Toulouse - Manu
Absolutely! Make a noise!! Watching the game and the quality. Truly astonishing that Manu decided to stay at Welford Road. This season has been a disaster, and it's been coming for years. BUT - if we can avoid relegation and IF we can get the recruitment right for next season. Well perhaps we've rea...

And now Barrow has left Stains ... there are times when you have to wonder is it you, not them.

Re: Dan Cole
The break from international rugby has done Cole good. Before that the relentless round of Prem, Europe, Autumn, 6N, Tour, RWC, can only have been taxing in the end. Playing and training a bit less has rested Dan, sharpened him up, and renewed his hunger.

Re: Murphy appointed head coach
Geordan Myrphy’s appointment is good news imho ... with five caveats. 1. A good defence coach. 2. No recriminations on Brett Deacon or Ant Allen, so they they can return to what they’ve been so good at, Academy/development. 3. Geordan has been appointed. However the season goes, there needs to be so...

Re: Simon Cohen and Ged Glynn
Hotel. The hotel thing was effectively thrust on Tigers when the owner of Granby Halls put the land on the market on a ‘best use’ basis. Tigers could put in a bid for the land to enhance the estate and generate revenue, or alternatively Opal Court-type high rise student building/s. Infrastructure ca...

Brad Thorn it is then.RagingBull wrote: ↑Sun Dec 09, 2018 2:26 pm What we need is.
A coach who has never played for Tigers but knows the club.
Maybe a SH coach with some outside influence.
But has knowledge of the prem
Has won some trophies in the NH
and is available now.
I wonder who fits that profile.

Re: Simon Cohen and Ged Glynn
The majority of the shares are in the hands of the major investors, Messrs Tom and ?Scott, so dynamite won’t shift them. Two-thirds of the way to ownership. This also means they effectively dictate policy, because they are a majority government. Hotel. I am under the impression that Tigers do not ha...

Re: Who would you like to see as the new DOR / Head Coach?
If "total commitment" is part of "the Tigers' way", then let's back Geordan Murphy. He's the Head Coach for the foreseeable future, let's get behind him and the boys. The teflon hierarchy seem to have squeaked out of responsibility, once again, but re-organisation there is necess...

This includes getting rid of himself then.

My bed's fine thanks. Memory Foam. My underlying point of that of visibility. Perhaps you have 20/20 vision? Not everyone does, but can still see. Near-black against a near-black background does not make for clarity, especially in the dark, with spotlights; rain makes it worse. In my own world I hav...

Re: New kits for next season
Traditional colour black? Black may have been an early colour, but grassy green with red and white hoops is the traditional scheme for the majority of the Tigers' history, with either white or black shorts. I don't doubt for a moment that anything I have to say will have zero influence on anything. ...

Re: New kits for next season
Frankly, I don't care who makes it, if only the shade of green could be revised. At night, or when wet or sweaty, the green is so dark it looks black. As a specs wearer, beyond the HW line the players then get lost against the woodwork/advertising/crowd. A lighter/brighter shade of green would help ...
