Re: Ringfencing almost upon us ?
Will ring fencing benefit the sport? I personally doubt it. It will become a servant of mammon, a privileged elite motivated and continually in pursuit of money. Rules will be changed to suit the media they are chasing for more money. Unfortunately the game I played as a youth and followed for years...

Re: Puzzled - Saracens!
A thought. If they were guilty why were they offered a choice. Surely in the pursuit of closure a full examination and disclosure would accelerate closure and clear the smell, until the full extent is known the doubts will continue and how do we know that all the schemes used are known and can be st...

Re: New Kit
I do not like the new kit but I am old fashioned and remember the old 70s hoops, but the new logo looks like two carpet tacks and is as related to
Leicester Tigers as are the aliens on the moon.

Re: Puzzled - Saracens!
The avoidance of scrutiny leaves many unanswered questions, until the financial records are properly scrutinised Sarries still smell and bring the game into disrepute .

Re: Price Waterhouse hired for restart.
It gives a clear indication that the powers that run PRL and custodians of elite professional game finally appreciate that they have made a complete mess of it. Or does it? In my career when things go awry the best cop out is “it is not my/our fault it was those consultants.”

Re: Players asked to take pay cuts!
I am reminded of a comment from a skilled auctioneer when the business I worked for went bust. He was cataloguing assets for sale and I was appalled at some of the values. He said “it is much more economic to have a smaller piece of the cake than a large piece of nothing.” The latter will apply when...

Will they be the last? It seems to be logically economic, my sympathy to both men but will it be the end or will there be more before the AGM.

Re: Review recommends change in attitude to restore trust in Premiership clubs
The report is excellent , exposes most if not all the malpractice within the premiership and is correct that it is “all or nothing”. I am however a little uneasy about the reaction of PRL, I read yesterday but cannot find it now comments that they would cherry pick the changes. It may have been genu...

Re: Simon Cohen leaves with immediate effect
Not surprised at all. The abysmal performance of the last few years must stop. Necessary changes to the coaching structure have been made but the coaches did not make all the decisions so it is only right that there must be changes at the top whether this is the only change time will tell but the ab...

Re: Players asked to take pay cuts!
Worthless prima donnas - they will still have an income, I know people with much lower salaries who now have nothing they have been sacked. I used to be proud of tigers -member, season ticket holder avid fan but now the only thing I feel is ashamed - poor performances, friction against management an...

Re: SARRIES FUTURE
As there has been no reduction in staff or no apparent reduction in the salary bill I expect that while they are winning the championship a movement will be started to increase the salary cap and then ring fence after they are promoted.

I am with you Noggs, their continued actions over the past years indicate there is no contrition but a continued cynical effort to keep going on in the same fashion,
. They give the game very bad stink.

Re: Sale vs Leicester - 21st February 2020
My opinion is that the BOD are only looking at the finances and some senior players their international careers, no one is concerned about the abysmal way we play. The Board console themselves that a) I am selling up so why bother and b) at least we will have a hotel and car park, which they think i...
