Re: Will the next month determine Cockerill's fate?
Simple answer to the original question: no chance. Regardless of how this season finishes, Cockerill's job is safe.

Re: Tigers v Bath
A one point defeat isn't the end of the world, we didn't play with enough physicality and intensity at the breakdown and our kicking game wasn't good enough to put us in the right areas of the pitch. In my opinion this result isn't a bad thing, as it will give us a lot to improve on rather than bein...

Re: Tigers v Bath
Bowden offers more versatility than Ford, as he can cover 10 and 12. He also has a better passing game than Allen. Its only Ford's goal kicking that has kept him on the bench ahead of Bowden.

Re: Toulon v TIGERS!
I guess the difference was in the salary cap. We had parity in most areas but there's no room (in the budget) for a Mat Giteau or a rumbling No8. In fact we'll struggle to hold the players we've got. We just can't expect to beat the top French & Irish sides because the playing field isn't level...

Re: Leicesters backs ???
Sorry for all you Tait fans but he has been a very bad buy. It is a known fact that he doesn't tackle, which I thought was a main ingredient in the game of rugby. Murphy must be at fullback for the quarter final. Pity Tigers can't do a Saints and go for the likes of a George North. Still there's th...

Re: Fed up with the petty squabbling
W what on earth does this have to do with Leicester Tigers? I thought this was a rugby forum! Without insulting you, being sharp or putting you down, don't you think you should have read the previous posts to this thread before making that comment? Regardless of the previous posts it still has noth...

Re: Fed up with the petty squabbling
I can live with the usual obvious "typos" and shrug off the modern trend where anything goes. What really annoys me is the ignorant use of the word "of" instead of "have". It was used three times in an email I received yesterday from "Homebase". It is not up ...

Re: Flood , Woodward and the future....
Flood doesn't seem to fit into the way that England are trying to play. With a not very creative 12, a full back that doesn't pose much threat and a left winger playing out of position makes it difficult for Flood to play his natural game. I expect they will go with Farrell because unfortunately the...

Re: Flood , Woodward and the future....
Tigers Board Director, Sir Clive Woodward has effectively jettisoned our Toby from all future involvement with England, if you read between the lines......... He neither mentioned him or selected him in his ''match day '' squad to play Wales So one can only assume he doesnt rate him or feel he has ...

Re: Eng's back three Issues
I doubt Lancaster will make any changes to the back 3 for the Wales, but hopefully in the summer they will look at other options as the current back 3 isn't international class.
I would go for:
11. May
14. Ashton
15. Foden

Re: Mental attitude
The coaching staff deserve more respect for what they have achieved. There are weaknesses as there are in any team. But, they have done enough to be given the chance to prove that they can get this club back where it wants to be. It's pointless talking about a change in coaching at this time of the ...
