Great news about Charlie Clare, a solid and reliable back up to Montoya with plenty of Tigers DNA.

Re: Sat 20th March - Exeter away
Good looking side with plenty of continuity in selection to help the youngsters. Great opportunity for JVP to step up his game as a starting 9, can't be as complacent or inaccurate as he was last week.

For me Freddie is 100% not the right option as stated previously, doesn't inspire me one little bit. However, if SB sees a fit then I trust him, he is building a decent squad with the right skills AND attitude, i've no doubt he won't settle for less. Have RugbyPass ever got it wrong? fingers crossed...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE V: Borthwick Strikes Back
When was Freddie last a first choice FH in the Prem? since he left Gloucester back in 2014? one of the back-ups for Fordy and then second to Priestland. I see the merit in signing a solid back-up but Freddie is too inconsistent and not a strong enough leader on and off the pitch. He was first choic...

so what are we saying Van staden ----> Taufua Van Wyk --------> Gigena Eli Snyman ----> Enever Like for like as far as quality with possibly more potential than Gigena and Enever could give. Grunt up front, extra power in the second row engine room, and more mobility in the back row, great signings...

Re: Next up London Irish - home - 5th March 2021
I keep seeing a recurring theme here that seems to imply that if you notice any areas for improvement or express any frustration at mistakes, even ones you've seen before, you lack patience. After the last 5 seasons I don't think that anyone still here can be accused of not having patience. It's no...

Re: Has Rugby Got a Fan Problem?
Social media has given all the morons a voice and rugby has more than their fair share. I much prefer the face-to-face debates in the clubhouse so when someone over steps the line and become abusive they either apologise or get a fat lip. Love a keyboard warrior!

even better as a SH not in his last game as one. Sorry RB, I can’t remember Simmonds last game as scrum half, could you remind me what happened? What happened was Tigers appointed an unsuitable Head Coach to put a squad together minus the starting 6 who were away on international duty. Simmonds oth...

Sonja is a brilliant journo and an excellent presenter, however she got the line of questioning totally wrong IMO. Baiting Faz rather than breaking down the tactical/discipline/selection reasons why England lost. Not the high standards Sonja normal broadcasts. As for Gengey in the players tunnel aft...

Rotating players for starting experience for what is an unlikely win seems a good idea at this stage of the rebuild. Haters will always hate though!!

I think you'll see more players take their entitled full 60/90 seconds which will slow the game up. Not necessarily a good thing IMO.

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2020-21
Former Tigers U18 double premiership winning centre Ronnie du Randt signs for Nottingham I respect any young player who'd rather drop a level so they can play every week, rather than being put on the back burner or benching all the time. Can only improve their game and most importantly scouts visib...
