Re: Seremaia Bai
Must have been something in the water this weekend, apart from Bai, Henderson gets a red card for Ulster, for a remarkably similar offence as Bai, and Ulster get last play try to get a 23-23 draw with Munster and today Parisse gets a first half red against Racing and Stade still win 28-19

Re: Team vs Wasps
Not sure how close AA was to playing this week but after Bai's moment of madness we could use him in the centre next week.

Re: Team vs Wasps
The emotion on Cockers face at the end mirrored my own. Wouldn't it be nice if certain people on this forum gave him the credit he deserves today, tactics were spot on in the first half and the players dug deep in the 2nd. He's not perfect but he bleeds red green and white (and orange today) and tod...

Re: Saracens v Tigers
I do not consider myself a "happy clapper" nor would I call myself a "doom monger". I try to, using that old cliche, take one game at a time and judge the season as a whole when it is over. I have never believed that any club has a divine right to win trophies and contrary to wha...

Re: Ring fencing the league
If you look at cricket, when there was an 18 team county championship there were so many meaningless games in the second half of the season it was becoming embarrassing. I don't believe it's a coincidence that when they switched to 2 leagues of 9 the fortunes of England's test team improved. You als...

Leonard Nimoy RIP
Saddened to hear of the death of Leonard Nimoy. I was 10 when Star Trek arrived on our screens and I couldn't begin to guess how many times I've watched an episode or film since then. A fine actor and human being.

Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition... According to QI you did expect the Spanish Inquisition as they were required to give 30 days notice that they were coming :smt001 . As for the video it should be obvious that as supporters we believe in our team, I just hope they don't expect blind faith. I...

Sometimes if something happens at the other end of the pitch it's useful to know why the whistle was blown but I did find the little figure very annoying

Re: Scarlets at home
Oh yeah, Stephen Shingler, take a bow. Anyone who questioned Matt Smith's reaction to the Hartley elbow needs to see it. Went down as if he'd been straight arm clotheslined by Burns; the replay showed Burns had gone for the ball in his arm and made minimal contact. Didn't get TMO'd I suspect becaus...

Re: Official history book has arrived
According to Mrs Dave J the lady delivering it was panting with the execertion of carrying it up the stairs. A weighty tome indeed.
