Re: Wasps Vs. Tigers
Andrew Small is Sunday's referee, don't think he's reffed the Tigers since the farce vs. Gloucester, might be a bit of a test for Cockers on his first game back. http://www.premiershiprugby.com/matchcentre/fixtures/29373.php Backs now definitely a case of last man standing- any volunteers for the 22...

Re: Latest Rugby Paper Rumour
Would be surprised by this for various reasons: 1. Slater is only one injury/ poor performance from a call up to the senior EPS, while Kitchener is probably 6th/7th choice for England, another lock who could be away on international duty wouldn't really help during the international periods. 2. De C...

Wasps Vs. Tigers
Rest week for the England players, so it’s pretty much certain Youngs.T, Cole and Parling will be available. Youngs. B and Flood might be available. According to last week’s Mercury Ayerza and Mafi should be available, while Matera’s paperwork might have come through! Presumably Niki will be out, th...

Re: Tigers v Treviso
Agree that a TBP is essential, it certainly won't be as easy as in the past but it is definitely achievable. IMO: Logo, Youngs, Cole Deacon, Parling Slater, Waldrom (I'll be amazed if he starts though), Salvi Mele (think he deserves the start on current form), Flood Bowden, Goneva Thompstone, Morris...

Re: Anthony Allen
Awful news for AA, wishing him the best for a safe and speedy recovery, he will be missed! Big opportunity for Bowden, hopefully he'll take it. Our luck with injuries in the backs is non-existent at the moment, as Martin Crowson pointed out on twitter only one was sustained in training- Smith's brok...

Re: Who do we go to if flood goes to France in the summer ?
Promote Williams and have Lamb as second choice. If Bowden stays then he is a good third choice, especially as Mele can kick the goals from SH. Mele can also play 10 and Steele has always looked good at SH when I've seen him so I don't any new signings would be needed in the half-backs. Spend the mo...

Re: Jerome Schuster
I was under the impression he was simply a relatively small prop and was therefore struggling to adapt to the new rules. If anyone can coach him how to scrummage its Cockers and the associated props here! Maybe get Julian off the farm for an extra session or two! Suspect we might see him in the LV ...

Re: Ayerza and Montera
Think the club are still waiting for Matera's paperwork etc. to come through. According to this article (http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/Geoff-Parling-Leicester-Tigers-Heineken-opener/story-19907023-detail/story.html#axzz2hayWps3C) Tigers will not get Ayerza until his wife has given birth in A...

Re: Ulster vs Tigers
Was this really the game to bring a player back after more than a year's lay off. Who would you have played instead Smudge, Hepetema was the only other realistic option, unless you think Flood or Williams could've played 12 with everyone shifting out one, and he hasn't played much club rugby at Pre...

Re: Ulster vs Tigers
No Allen? Is he injured? Must be, same for Scully presumably! Good luck to Miles, aren't many tougher places to make your Tigers debut. If we get an LBP I'd be delighted, that is a strong side but there are too many injuries/ unavailabilities to be hopeful of a win IMO. But stranger things have hap...

Re: Richard Cockerill has agreed a new five-year contract
Great news :smt023 :smt023 His record speaks for itself and the consistency shown to have 5 home-semis, 5 Prem finals, 3 Prem trophies, an LV Cup, a HC final etc. in 5 years should not be underestimated. If the next 5 years are as successful as the last I won't have too many complaints, although ano...

Re: Tigers v Sinners
Geoff Parling on the bench, interesting Guessing the knock to his hip is a bit more than Cockers was letting on. Can see him dropping out before the game Perhaps but if he was certain to drop out then why not have him starting?? Suspect he has a slight knock and will be ok for the bench but Cockers...
