Harlequins - Champions of the World
I get so frustrated in the way teams and players get overhyped at this time of year. Last year’s champions should be comfortably beating the team 2nd bottom. Bristol have been comprehensively beaten twice already and struggled to beat the leagues bottom club. With the strange nature of the league la...

Re: Round 2 other matches
I’m really confused as to how Karl Dickson went to the TMO to check a Bristol try, found a penalty infingement, sent the Wasps player off but didn’t award the penalty try to Bristol. Was I missing something?

Re: Tigers @ Gloucester - Friday 24th September 2021 - 1945
I prefer a nice Malbec myself, especially with my Friday steak and chips night. Nothing better… If we play to our potential like Saturday this is a tigers win no doubt. Silence the crowd first and foremost. Don’t let the shed get up ahead of steam and start to get at our players. Although I do love...

The bubblegum flavour is likely caused by the process of carbonic maceration that is widely used in Beaujolais.northerntiger wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 9:16 pm Terrible choice of wine! Fluffy and reminiscent of bubblegum

Re: Leicester Tigers women's team?
Pretty sure Andrea announced that we would create a women’s side when she became ceo. I also seem to remember she said they would start from scratch and not just takeover Loughborough Lightning.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE VI: The Return of the Burns
I've been thinking a bit about the potential signings and had a couple thoughts, there have been strong rumours about a new flanker and it seems like most people have identified lock as a area of weakness at the very top end. If we are going down the specialist flanker route a name that I feel hasn...

Re: EUROPEAN SEMI FINALS
I love how we adapted in the second half. They were so aggressive defending the midfield and there was a definite tactic to go wider in the second half. George’s execution was stunning at times but his ability to change the game plan was more impressive for me.

Starting XV
If everyone is available, who do we pick? There are so many people putting their hands up. Big questions for me at 3, 4, 5, 7, 11, 12 and 14 How do we accommodate Martin? Is Heyes moving ahead of Cole? Has Kelly done enough to displace Scott? Is Nadolo nailed on when he returns? Who do you give the ...

Re: Tigers vs Falcons - 28th March 2021 at 15:00
Forgive me I am but a simple man with a simple mind. Does this English love of holidays mean that returning squad players don't even train? How many club players miss the big day because they get injured in training? How often do we hear of players being described as game rusty ( as Sarries)? No wo...

But did you really know the risks, when you listen to the life changing impacts concussions have had on former players. I certainly never thought long term when I took a head knock. Unfortunately this isn’t just a headache for a couple of days. At the end of the day these are not new laws and there...
