Re: Looking for info on a Leicester old boy
Unfortunately in my experience as many people claim to have "played for Tigers" as claim to have seen the Sex Pistols live in the seventies, and both numbers are significantly greater than fact.

Re: Saracens v Leicester
So PROUD of the boys ! Taking on the league leaders in their backyard, with a near cast iron record, and playing ( by the sound of it) aggressive rugby to take them down, rather than mixing it up for a losing bonus point. Takes sand. I LOVE Tigers when they play with sand, even when we lose. I wish ...

Was considering a beer and rugby weekend for my Mrs birthday and saw this event advertised on the main Tigers site for 29th feb. Could be fun and none more deserving charity to boot. ( Matt Hampson / Stuart Mangan memorial trusts) Click here Anybody going ? Looks like a Tigers old boys side represen...

Re: Hop, skip and a pass?
I watched my recording of " the rugby club" today having read this thread and ALL the 9's were skipping before passing when serving the line in attack. I don't think its just Tigers or England. Maybe it helps get distance at the price of speed ? I dunno.

Re: Harry's knee
I think the lad should retire you know. I don't think its up to much and him being crippled for life is not worth persisting with playing him.

Re: IS CIPRIANI MAD
Cipriani no - he has been tried and found wanting at both internationals and GP level. His chances have come and gone. And the hand wrote "Mene mene tekel up'harsin" oo ! Great Daniel quotation ! I think Austin's an ass. I loathe arrogant people, even if they are talented. Cip isn't a ten...

TV stuck a brace of tries past Bayonne a fortnight ago so I doubt he's our because of poor form.

Re: Radio Leicester is the worse commentary I have ever heard!
Having been called upon to commentate on a few amateur events, I have great sympathy. When the ref, ten feet away is not sure what's happening how can the commentators be expected to be oracles of accurate status info ?
I am fairly new to Bleddyn's commentary and I liked the passion I must admit !

He was just RUBBISH wasn't he ?
I'd actually put Gareth Davies from my own local team Dudley Kingswinford beyond Cipriani based on today's performance.
Quite impressed by Danny Care though.

I was at that game just behind the half way line. Best seats I ever had, worst defeat I ever endured :(
