Re: A joke TMO bath v sale!!

The referee was in the best position to award that try or not. No need for the TMO unless just to confirm his opinion.

Not sure if that was a good result for us or not...I suppose the only thing that matters is our own results starting from tomorrow!!!

Re: Saints team

Myler is a really big loss for them.

We have a good chance to win this, the weather is set fair for a running game, but Williams needs to kick his goals, I just hope he doesn't get intimidated by the hostile atmosphere.

Can't wait!!

Re: Well done Newbury RUFC

Good on Newbury!

Banter with the ref is fine, especially at professional level, but football style abuse/swearing is not on at any rugby ground.

We all have perfect vision on the Crumbie Terrace obviously!! :smt003

Cole is out for the season.

Parling and Croft will both be available for selection at some point in April.

Anybody heard any news on Tait and Benjamin?

Re: Sinners v Tigers

I've already said on another thread that if we can win on Saturday, IMO Saints could get a severe attack of the yips (as we golfers say)! Let's hope so, and I'm particularly looking forward to the Youngs/Hartley battle under the auspices of W Barnes! Let's hope DH minds his p's and q's NOT :smt003 P...

Re: Is a home semi final out of the question?

It seems odd how statistically away wins are so rare in the premiership semi finals. They are very very few. The matches are decided on by a prior league structure, and generally it is accepted that teams play better at home for various reasons such as knowing the pitch dimensions (slightly longer ...

Re: Sir for Saturday

Saints hate Barnes with a passion - remember last year's final!

It's a good choice for us IMO :smt003

Re: Is a home semi final out of the question?

It's still highly unlikely but I reckon Saints will not be looking forward to playing us next week... especially without Manoa and Myler. I can't wait!! Is Myler out for next week? Monoa is a huge loss though him and Lawes are there bash brothers. Fair point RB. I have read Manoa is definitely out,...

Re: Tigers vs Exeter

A v good performance! Salvi was fantastic, fresh and has really benefitted from his 4 week break. Everyone played well, but I would still pick Flood over Williams, just a personal preference, I can see why others would say stick with OW.. OTY 100% in the line out, bring on Hartley and the Saints!!! ...

Re: 6 nations 2014

Mr P you are exactly right!! The southern hemisphere would love a tournament with half the drama and public interest. I wonder how many millions watched the 6N this year on terrestial tv?? I lot I should imagine and with the exception of a couple of games they would have been royally entertained!! S...

Re: What's Toby done wrong?

Toby has not been on great form, but he has enough "in the bank" with Tigers to back his class and temperament in these next few crucial games.

The thought of Williams at 10 away at saints and Clermont worries me a lot; hopefully I'll be proved wrong!

Re: Is a home semi final out of the question?

I really, really want us to appear in 10 consecutive finals which would be an astonishing achievement in any professional sport. This team still needs to gel, however. Maybe now we/they know who's leaving, any dissatisfaction/dressing room issues can be set aside and the stayers can become players....
