The only shirt Daly should wear in International Rugby is 23. He won't have many missed tackles as he just avoids them.
The England Squad has a fair few large cap holders who just aren't & never have been International level.

When it comes to Hookers you have to take into account our first choice one presumably won't be available much (if at all) until after the AIs.

It might depend how we start, we have been pretty awful this season when coming into games "Cold".
Lack of a 7 in a starting XV always worries me.(We need Tommy fit for the rest of the season to challenge for the other bits of silver on offer)

https://twitter.com/gloucesterrugby/status/1767627296259617125?t=mhHdrXOoDAQTpg6ehTqtUA&s=19 Anscombe confirmed to Gloucester. With him and Atkinson joining it seems to confirm both Carreras and Hastings are off. Good player but made from glass I don't remember him being too bad when he was in ...

Wonder if Bayonne will say they will get more game time out of Manu...Robespierre wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2024 9:18 am Manu is said to be signing for Bayonne in the Top14.

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
Freddie does need to work on his kicking & passing to some extent & possibly needs to look at positioning in defence to counter his initial lack of acceleration, my guess is over the length of the pitch there would be little difference between Freddie & the other backs.

Absolutely. How did we win the premiership and what have Quins and Saints won recently? I am starting to wonder if SB just got lucky with us that year. Certainly did nit evolve much in the following year. He changed how we were playing the year following the Prem win, tried to evolve the attack wit...

Carre from Cardiff to Sarries Certainly has, Gatland will need to pretty much play him in every game now until the end of the summer if he wants to have him available after his move to Sarries. For those not in the know Carre has 20 caps and so is 5 short of the limit which would allow him to remai...

For me I think it's time to give Whitcombe a run as the starting LH.sam16111986 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2024 3:14 pm If Tom West was available for a return I'd take him back in a heartbeat. He seemed to fit in well here, is only 28 and won't be particularly expensive in prop terms. He certainly played well for us.

I presume the Vunipolas are off end of this season, so West might easily have a position there.
Wyn Jones at the Scarlets might be an option.

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
One way to view Borthwick is Tigers shambolic start to last season as much as our success the season before, IMHO that shows as much if not more to his coaching as the trophy the season before.
