Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 4

So impatient. Can’t see why we need to jump on the bandwagon of other clubs and announce everything as soon after Jan 1st as possible. Because Jan is depressing enough, then add to that us being very poor this season and out of Europe embarrassed yet again and did I say Jan is depressing? :smt030 O...

Wonder if he has a relegation get out clause...Luatua and Hughes is some 6/8 combo that is for sure

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 4

Sorry guys, having read all of this. I realise now how wrong I am. The team is fine, the coaching has just been a tad iffy, the CEO is doing a cracking job. Glynn has cracked the academy. The Board have shown great insight in their recruitment and retention of DORs / Head Coach. The recruitment pol...

Re: BoD

How Ged Glynn and Cohen who look after player contracts and signings can keep their jobs is beyond me...the team they have put together for an apparent spend up to the cap is quite frankly an embarrassment to them both!! But like you say the Turkeys aren't going to vote for Christmas are they...just...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 3

I just cannot see how Ged Glynn can keep his role...when you look at our squad compared to the majority of premiership competition what we must get for our money is awful :smt012 The main thing is no coach is going to fix this (bar the defence maybe ) until we get rid of a good few of the players wh...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 3

Scottish Daily Mail reporting: "Although he has yet to put pen to paper, Jones is poised to sign a two-year deal with the Welford Road club. Jones, who joined the Scotstoun club less than two years ago, turned down a deal in the region of £375,000 a year to stay in favour of a move to England....

Surely this means Manu is off?

With the World Cup Manu surely isn't going to France until after then?

After that he has Toulon or Racing written all over him in my opinion.

Although things can change.

Not like you to put something like this out there..?

Re: Autumn Internationals

Mercer, Care and Lozowski dropped for Australia the Mail is reporting. Hughes and Piers Francis come into the squad. Wrigglesworth will back up YBY. Would like to see a back row of Hughes, Lawes and Underhill with Wilson and Shields on the bench. Ashton retained despite going off injured. I was rea...

Re: Season ticket price increase question

With Tigers making a loss of almost £1 million, would you be willing to have your season ticket price increased by £20 next season? This would make Tigers an extra £280,500. Sounds like a great idea when Tigers are struggling to get people through the gate... Attendances surely must be down conside...

Re: Autumn Internationals

Rugby will continue to leave a bitter taste in the mouth until these instances are clarified...the fact we can have such two high profile matches decided by decisions which almost everyone is 50/50 on just isn't good for the game. In the instance like we saw against Nz I would like to see the rule b...

Re: New study comparing rugby headguards

The study is a complete farce....dropping a doll with or without a headguard is an absurd study and I can't believe they have published it with drop tests as a guide of whether the impact is lesser It is widely known that this has little material impact in the kind of collisions that cause brain inj...
