Re: Handré Pollard - A League of His Own | Leicester Tigers Tribute

Magnificent effort once again Stan!

It seems to me that he's fitted in so well because he enjoys being here and working with this group of players. Here's hoping his current injury isn't too serious and as you say that he has a fabulous World Cup and brings that form back to Tigers.

Re: Harry Potter - The Magician | Leicester Tigers Leaver's Tribute

Thanks Stan. Excellent work as ever. Looking at this you can see why he was selected most weeks. The incoming wingers have a lot to live up to. Good luck in Australia Harry and if it doesn't work out maybe you can come back to Welford Road!

Re: Cornish Pirates seek money

The Cornish Pirates owner is looking for crowd funding to improve facilities at the club. He is very clear that this is NOT an investment opportunity ,these are donations and no-one will make any money. https://www.bbc.com/sport/rugby-union/65707671 He could always take to the high seas under the s...

I'm not so sure that Jasper will move.I get the feeling that he feels very settled here and enjoys playing with this group of players and appreciates the support of the MWWR crowd.

Re: Play Off Semi-final - Saracens vs Saints

Mitchel is defending himself out of a World Cup place and now seems to be imitating Marcus Smith with a little jog sideways that no one is buying. Never has been good enough against top sides. Not fit enough, tends to fade in the last 20 minutes and like Smith is a show pony who'll get annihilated ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2022/23 Squad and transfers thread part 2: The Lion, the Wig and the Wardrobe

The daily mail article on Watson staying with us states we're looking at signing him with no form of central contract. So no support from the RFU. Talk about unfairness in rugby. Sarries can get away with murder unless caught out. Here we have another likely example, with the RFU giving them a big ...

Brilliant as always Stan. Loved the Undertones backing music. Thanks so much. From a selfish perspective please keep them coming.

He's retired and now runs a gym in Leicester that's co-owned with Genge.
Hopefully that means Ellis will return here at some point, once he realises that he's wasting his time at Bristol.

Given Saints defensive frailties could be a high scoring game.

The TMO must have been asleep at that point too. Or if he did spot it and advise Carley then Carley must have decided to ignore it.

Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Saturday 25th March 2023 - KO 12:30pm

I think whatever the outcome of any citing hearing, I can't see Steward starting vs Bristol. Even if overturned, the team will be practicing with Brown (most likely) or Watson at 15 for next weekend's game Brown at fullback, Watson on one wing and Potter on the other for me. Freddie rested if not b...
