Re: Tigers v Wasps
I agree about the Teflon coated Veianu, Freddie had a couple of decent breaks but no-one with him to capitalise.
I also note, with sadness, that it was Wasps' first victory at WR since 2008

Re: Tigers v Wasps
Not incomprehensible. If he had signalled it clearly and we could have retained possession, Wasps being caught off guard...
Because at that stage possession was vital. Clearly not enough communication.

Re: Catering & Bar Feedback Season 2016/17
A number of catering suits (Male and Female) outside the lounge thingy under the Crumbie before kick off having a concerned huddle. I pointed out there were no pints of Tiger pre-poured. Took me three goes to make them understand what I meant; then a light appeared to go on and two headed towrds the...

Re: Tigers v Wasps
I'll just mention Genge as the archetype of players out there today. Came on, was aggressive, did some good things then commits a stupid, unnecessary, blatant foul under Sir's nose and guarantees that we don't even get the losing bonus point. All his good work undone because he is unable to think cl...

Re: Lions 2017
Currently, Tigers players play 22 Aviva Premiership games, at least the pool stages in Europe, the Autumn internationals, the Six Nations and, every 2 years either a Lions tour or a World Cup. Every 2 years there is basically a 50 week season. When Brad Thorn came it was pointed out that he had play...

Re: Performance Management
In most organisations now what gets measured gets done. It doesn't matter that what is being measured is not what needs doing. The bean counter, reductionist approach has been very profitable to consultants over the years who have applied their nostrums to organisations like the NHS and the police w...

Re: Tigers v Wasps
On last week's performance, Wade looked distinctly uncomfortable until late in the game. For the first 60 he always shipped the ball on and seemed reluctant to be involved in any contact either offensively or defensively. Whether someone had a word with him about it I know not.

Re: Arriving very soon
Old Hob I don't see your issue here at all? No need to cry about it. See!!! No, Ben won't be in charge of service as he is too busy being Leicester and England's first choice scrum half. This is my issue; Dr Pangloss here will not allow any negative comments about LFC. Even jokes. It is insane; the...

Re: Arriving very soon
It has come from every other post you have ever sent. My employer does stuff; they have people trumpeting it. We also get things wrong and spend some time admitting this and apologising. Ellis9 is clearly a child of Doctor Pangloss and Pollyanna who was given a "nothing LFC do is ever wrong&quo...

Re: Arriving very soon
Arriving very soon at Welford Road is Ben Youngs and Tom Croft's speciality coffee and doughnut bar called 96. Without trying to sound like Homer Simpson, mmmmmmm doughnuts! But you always sound like what the marketing department of Tigers would sound like if they were not constrained by the law an...

Re: Emasculated Manu
And how many tackles did he successfully complete? According to The Times on Saturday 0/6. He needs to step up or start paying back some of the inflated wages he has been paid for playing video games for 2 years.

I'm just hoping that when we play them the weather on match day is completely different from that of the previous week.

Here's a different response from a DOR after a dire performance: From the BBC sport website: Northampton director of rugby Jim Mallinder: "It was difficult. We haven't had any rain in training and it is a completely different game when it rains. We are all learning, but there were some positive...

Re: Teams up v Gloucester
So glad to be a Tiger. When we win, we did well (probably could do better), when we lose it's our fault; that's Tigers. The Glaws board is astonishing - happy to take 2 points, could have been worse, would have taken them before the game. Good grief, such a low level of expectation. How many more cl...
