I did think of my coat but didn’t want to risk accusations of appropriation in this benighted era.

Could be the driver for away games, he makes the coach transition from one location to another.

Re: U20's 6 Nations

Off topic but an addendum to the poor notification of rugby events and TV for them :
I found almost by accident that GBsevens both men and women are playing in the European Championships ( 24 - 27th ) and a top or top 2 finish gets a place in the Olympics.
Streaming on RugbyEurope if no where else.

Re: Womens Team

With all the excitement of new signings and playing other top teams one can only hope more games will be played at Welford Road and maybe even double headers.

Am I wrong or does Sleighthome look a bit like Thompstone ? ( in how he plays, not in actual looks ).
And as such he would be of interest.

Re: Heavier music next season

Loudspeaker getting too loud for me.

Stopped going to London Sevens as it was painful and frequent- lots of tries in Seven’s.
I hope it was just special occasion and next season back to normal, perfectly audible and not deafening.

No Ashton May just be Nadolo at centre ( or anywhere ) for last 20 viewed as ultimate game change opportunity

Re: Red Roses

Shame also that after consecutive Grand Slams, 18 matches unbeaten including 2 v NZ that BBC SPOTY doesn't have them in Team of The Year.
Maybe winning a World Cup will attract attention.

Re: Richard Blaze

Their gain, Red Roses loss, They may be professional compared to many of their rivals but the scrum and general performance of the pack has become superlative under Blaze.
Hope it won't affect their World Cup chances ( 2021, should be ok ? )

Going To Calvisano

My sister and I are going independently via Verona.

Is there a meeting place pre match in Calvisano or a bar/clubhouse at the ground to meet and maybe have a libation and chat ?

Post match driving to Lake Garda in winter dark may mean little post game supping.

Re: Wippee Friday night game! PRC fixtures

By motorcycle is a good way to go, amble via back road scenery and then parking at the ground is free.
Of course winter games are not so amenable.

Re: Forward passes and putting the ball in

Offside at kick off - there is a line on the pitch for heavens sake
Penalty kicks ( from hand ) taken far in advance of the mark
- shouldn't that be a scrum to the opposition ?
Apply that one and see how quickly it dies out.
