Re: If they hadn't left?

Yes, most of his tries come from rolling mauls and we all know we cant do that. The rest come from a couple metres out and we are often not close enough to the line for someone like him to be as effective!

Re: If they hadn't left?

1. Balmain -many chances but just not top level. we have at least 3 better TH's than him. Glaws offered more money. 2. Keyser -we were never going to hold onto him for long 3. Brookes - Genge has had him on toast on two occasions now. Again, we have better. 4. Slater- would love to still have him 5....

Re: Tigers Vs Gloucester

1. Genge - Strong Set-piece and outstanding in the loose -slowly becoming our best player 2. Bateman -Get him back at Hooker and dominate the set-piece. Id have Mcguigan here if fit. 3. Cole -Rock 4. Williams -Much needed power 5. Barrow -Enforcer, time to step up. 6. Kalamafoni - Meat in the back r...

Re: Tigers Vs Gloucester

don't quite get what people are going for on here when mentioning our lack of power then advocating to bring in both Croft and Evans at 6 & 7?

Re: Saints Away

It all gets rushed and frantic. We constantly look fragile at every ruck. Youngs doesn't become a bad 9 overnight. We are taking an extra few seconds to secure the ball which means the opposition have time to set their defence. Ford/Toomua then get less time to create something resulting in turnover...

Re: Saints Away

Heard a lot of people criticise Toomua. Maybe he would be more effective with better ball and not being knackered from having to clear out at rucks constantly due to our powder-puff 4-8!

Re: Tigers v Bath

That's about a 12% difference so very sizeable when you consider there's 30 players on the pitch.

Re: Tigers v Bath

Big enough difference for it to be noticeable IMO. I've not really got the time to properly look into it but I bet the likes of Ford and May would prefer a bigger pitch.

Re: Tigers v Bath

Welford Road Length is 91m, width is 64.5m.

I've tried extensively to find all the others but its pretty obvious we have the smallest pitch and try areas. If anyone could come up with a list that would be grand.

Re: Tigers v Bath

Am I alone in thinking the small size of our pitch harms us now? It used to be a massive benefit but now against physical teams we come unstuck and often run out of space to use our creativity and pace?

Re: Only Genge in England squad for Argentina, well done El

First post on this forum after a long time just being nosey! :smt006 I must say I'm baffled at the inclusion of the curry twins and Mallinder in this squad. O'Connor, Ewers and Devoto would've been much better options for me. Fair play to Genge though, come a long way over the past 18 months. :smt038
