Re: 22/23 Injury & Suspension list

Everyone seems to be talking about Martin as though he's definitely fit, but he wasn't in the 23 on Saturday.......I sincerely hope you are all right!! But nobody has said anything about Watson, and with us appealing Ashton's red, perhaps we are short on the wings? Again let's hope Watson (and Stewa...

Re: 22/23 Injury & Suspension list

Wouldn't it be great to get an injury update from the Club, just like Sarries and others get regularly........or perhaps there is someone in the know! I heard somewhere that Cronin should be fit for Sale. It would be good to know about Martin, Steward, Snyman and Watson, who were all absent from the...

No Watson, Martin or Steward in the 23. Really hope they are not injured.

Re: Women's Six Nations 2023

Thanks for your posts on this Darc Tiger.
I hope all of us who are English will get behind the girls today (1pm KO BBC2), they are a great team and a credit to rugby union.
The French are good too, so it's all set for a feisty and bruising encounter!!

Come on England!!

Re: Tom West to Sarries

Wow - that is so disappointing!!!

I know we have Cronin and Whitcombe, but West has been outstanding and he doesn't appear to be injury prone either.

Such a shame.

Re: Local rugby

Two very close matches - Forest edging the Colts match 27-24 and Harborough winning the Seniors cup 42-41! Well played all teams, and brilliant to see so many people in the crowd. I don't think they announced an attendance, but I'd say there were at least 4k people there. Yes agreed two fantastic g...

Re: Local rugby

Hope a few of you can make it tonight to MWWR for the County Cup Final. Oadby Wyggs v Market Harborough KO 8pm plus the Colts final Leicester Forest v Hinckley KO 6pm. Tickets can still be bought on line from the Tigers or pay on the gate. Both should be excellent games and local rugby needs as much...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2022/23 - Prisoner of Oadby Pre-Season

RagingBull - could we move on from 'Prisoner of Oadby Pre-Season'? We've had nearly 3000 replies on 194 pages! I quite like Oadby, and have always thought the name of this topic to be a bit negative! You always used to move on after a period of time...? Ok, yeh I will do. I’ll do it after work With...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2022/23 - Prisoner of Oadby Pre-Season

I would definitely take Wade, he is a prolific try scorer and his defence is not as bad as sometimes portrayed. He also has experience at the top level and hopefully wouldn't be too expensive. All providing he was keen to come and the coaches judge he will arrive with the right attitude. It would pr...

Re: Contenders for end of season awards?

I can't look past Wiese. He makes more difference to our team than any other player IMO. We need go forward in the pack to play effectively, and he does it better than anyone. Forwards win games, backs decide.........

Martin and Pollard in the other two cats for me.

Re: Tigers v Exeter (H) - Sunday 16th April 2023 - KO 3-00pm

London Irish have Saracens (A) and Exeter (A) - tough games. Northampton would have to win both games with Bonus Points and hope that Tigers get less than 5 points in their remaining games. Table likely to finish: Saracens Sale Tigers Irish Yes I agree. Fancy our chances at Sale though, providing w...

Fantastic team. My only change would be Atkinson for Gopperth.

So pleased Scott is back and Montoya has passed the protocols.

Only downside, still no Guy Porter.....but I'm sure he will be back for Quins.
