Haven't read the article and not really interested. Just getting fed up of seeing articles by Dayglo. He seems to do more interviews etc. than the rest of the England team, coaches and RFU bods put together :smt015

From the BBC article:

"It was the fact Mark has played a lot of international rugby in the back three, and we expect a fair old aerial bombardment on Saturday."

Sounds like BA might have worries about how Matthew Tait would deal with the high kicks as much as anything else.

There have been a number of posts about who should or might retire immediately after the RWC. One of the names mentioned was Simon Shaw. In an article in The Times recently, his view was that choosing when to retire was only for those who had had a long and settled international career (e.g. Jonno),...

I general I quite agree, although I might quibble over one or two timings in your lists. One thing to remember is that many of the young players who are coming through, and that we would hope will be there for 2011, have had relatively little international experience and will need quite a few older,...

Geordan can have a bit of a break. Johne's been pretty impressive and has added a goal-kikcing option that has proved very useful.

While I am not disagreeing with this, hasn't Geordan had enough of a break already? And doesn't he kick as well?

Craig Dowd sees world through black and gold tinted glasses

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/rugby/article2539917.ece I don't see what he has to complain about :smt017 Shaw and Wurzel have started 3 out of 4 and Shaw is being rested for this match. Vickery has played 2, out injured for one and back on the bench after the injury. Rees has played 2 and (...

Foreign player restrictions this (2007/8) season

A fair proportion of the new players that have signed - Mauger, Stankovich, Herring to name three - would be classed as foreign would they not for Premiership and HEC purposes (and the Ed Fenergy?). What restrictions are there this season on the number on the pitch at the same time? :?:

You can't beat a nice bit of unfounded smear and innuendo. Given the RFU's and Bill Beaumont's replies, our erstwhile French coach obviously knows nothing about drug testing in English Rugby. Not sure why he said it. I reckon it will get the England team even more motivated when they pay France over...

To me it has got to be winning the HEC for two reasons. Firstly, it is the biggest and most prestigious tournament. Secondly, because we just missed out last year. While I agree with most of the posts above that the EDF is definitely 3rd in terms of prestige, it does have (if my memory serves me cor...

One of the 180 views did book BJ! Thanks for the info. My wife and I will be there, even though we are closer to Stansted than EMA. With the airport taxes at Stansted being around £25 per person, the equivalent flights from there added up to nearly £90. We have not flown from EMA before. Does anybod...
