Just needs an attack coach, then the revolution will truly reach its potential...Darc Tiger wrote: ↑Sat Jun 05, 2021 3:56 pm The threat Bristol offer with every attack is a stark contrast. Something we have to develop over the summer. We're not far off.

Re: BRISTOL (H) - 5th June 2021
It’s a good job Bristol havnt turned up.....yet! They have but our pack has been on top. Hard to create a lot when you forwards are struggling to go forward ball in hand. They've already started using the pop off Hughes or Hughes as the dummy because their go to ball carrier is getting hammered by ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE VI: The Return of the Burns
I can see Ford leaving for League more than another country though People say Smith is destined to be the next England 10. But he hasn't even played a England game yet, and this summer is only v T2 oppositions. Personally I don't see him leaving England till after the 2023 RWC. He's only 28 people ...

Re: Forward passes
Some forward passes do get missed but some I have called myself, on review, clearly left the hands backwards. Don't forget that a player running at pace and passing the ball slightly backwards will result in the ball travelling forward to the receiver. This is not deemed to be a forward pass. Simpl...

Re: Wigglesworth
i would suggest that Cocker's game plan was suited to the players he had available and that we are still trying to get back to the level of success we had under him. I think we are on the way and will get there under Steve Borthwick who I believe has much in common with Cocker but may be free of so...

Re: Forward passes
Just watched some of the C5 highlights of the Quins:Bath game. Just left me wondering how far forward does as pass have to be before the TMO decides it is clear an obvious. One looked about 45 degrees and was taken about 2 yards ahead.....Yes the TMO said not clear and obvious. Bring on ball sensor...

Re: BRISTOL (H) - 5th June 2021
Eddie Jones has intimated Kelly might get into the England squad and Borthwick has given him “glowing reports”, therefore Kelly could well play the last two games, if fit. Expect Bristol to come fully loaded unless the citing officer decides Radradra should have had a yellow for the high tackle bef...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE VI: The Return of the Burns
I think the key piece of recruitment for next season is a top class attack coach. Not a criticism of Borthwick at all. He's made it pretty clear that this season was about the fundamentals of forward play, defence, kick chase. Didn't want to waste the young Australian coaches time. But if this seas...

Re: Worcester (A) - 29th May 2021
Well Tigers didn’t play well but won which is what you have to do. I still don’t think all the chopping and changing helps the team: especially in the backs. Kicking is fine if it’s used in the right way with very good chasers; eg May, Yarde, all the Exeter Chiefs’ backs, though I’m not sure they k...

Re: Worcester (A) - 29th May 2021
ZH at 15 doesn’t work. He is not able to defend as a 15 should and doesn’t command when under the high ball. Reminds me of Daly, an England career beckons? Back up 10 at best. Too much ball kicked ahead when we have no speedsters. Kicking for touch or territory was ok but without the gas to pressur...
