Re: TMO reviews and Dallaglio
Don’t mind the TMO. What I don’t understand is why the touch judges (professional referees in their own right) play such a passive role, particularly when a clear infringement is happening in front of them.

Just got back. Disappointing but no need to panic. On a positive note, Tempest finally on Tigers side. Fantastic tackle by him on Dombrant…. :smt096 For me it looked like the sort of game we have every four years where the players are just back from the World Cup. The players that have played so far...

Re: Wayne Barnes
Best referee of his generation. A legal brain with superb empathy and people management skills proved a winning formulae for a referee.
As for the personal abuse he’s got sadly it’s a wider society issue. I don’t know what the answer is.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work
Will be sad to see Brown go if true. He’s rediscovered some of his younger form with the added benefit of the rugby brain that you get from more senior players. I’ll say it. Is Watsons signing, possibly at the expense of Brown and probably a chunk of cap, the best move? Brown has been available and ...

Time to start visiting Portugal IMHO. Great location and their team showed some great untapped talent.Rugbygramps wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2023 11:23 am So are we expecting an announcement re Watson and a possible World Cup bolter this week

Can’t understand about all these efforts to turn Freddie into something other than the World class Full Back he is. Talking about breaking something that doesn’t need fixing….

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work
Our squad really does have some stardust to be sprinkled back in... Cole showed why Heyes is learning from the best, plus Cronin back from injury. Montoya well world class Martin Chessum along with Henderson gives us IMO the best 2nd row in the prem Reffell and Wiese coming in in the back row makes...

Re: RWC 2023 Fixtures and results
Proud of England. That was a gutsy performance backed by a clear tactical plan that nearly worked.. You could finally see the imprint of Borths / Sinfield / Alex, particularly in defence and fight - the ‘non negotiables’. In other words the foundations are finally laid. I.e England may not be at the...

Re: RWC 2023 Fixtures and results
I think a lot of credit has to go to Aled Walters who got England peaking at the right end of the tournament. England players had an energy and strength they hadn’t previously. SA were the opposite. A complete reversal of 2019 when Alex Walters was with SA.
Can we get him back at MWWR please!

Re: RWC 2023 Fixtures and results
Two big changes changed the game 1. Replacing Marler/Cole with Genge/Sinckler sadly. 2. Pollard coming on. A few positives. Martin and Earl have launched themselves as future first England XV starters. Steward has answered why he is the nailed on 15. Alex Mitchell’s best game in an England shirt - h...
